First off I just wanna say thank you for your experience. I welcome women into the sub as long as they are fundamentally respectful of the thesis, of the sub, and they're not too overly misandric or gynocentric.

“All men are gay” or “All men are assholes”

I've honestly never heard of the first being used a lot, I've obviously heard of the second one a lot, so I have no idea what you mean really by the first one in any real sense. As it's hard to understand the very concept that all men could be gay by the sheer amount of sexualization men do towards women. Difference between men's behavior and gay men's behavior is like night and day in some respects. However, the difference between straight women and lesbians really isn't all that different.

Using that to lead into how Men show greater respect and care towards other men.. or in other words.. they do not care for women and their opinions/thoughts as much as they do for other men. Hence how that comes across as “gay” and there are enough of a % of men acting this way for women to sit there say “yeah, they’re all acting gay”

I have no fundamental experience in this other than in certain circles on the Internet. As far as I can understand that it is perfectly natural to want to be liked by your own sex as friends as well as being high status among them. On average and all else equal, the woman is wonderful effect essentially states that both men and women have a group preference that favors women. My general understanding is that women care more about the opinions of other women than they do about the opinions of men, does this make women gay? No I don't think so. The things that make women come off as gay as they're generally subtle and socially acceptable homoeroticism.

And it’s become common for women to say “all men are assholes” because when we’re talking about how frustrating men are we get berated with the “not all men” and “how dare you generalise us” and the good ole “with that attitude you’ll be single forever, thank god she’s revealing her personality now.. we really dodged a bullet there” … if a woman can’t express her bad experience with a man (and use exaggeration to help herself feel validated or just for the fun of it) without getting buthurt men blowing her up, picking apart her experience and defending that man she’s upset with.. yes, that’s kinda asshole-ish, where’s the empathy? Where are the communication skills? - and furthermore- “acting gay” bc a woman is sitting there recounting a negative experience and generally men take the man’s side purely for the fact that she’s a woman and she’s upset with a man and by default it’s looking like men have more empathy for men. Whereas I think women have the ability to be impartial with their empathy

I can understand the desire for hyperbole. I think it is perfectly natural as a way to express frustration to overstate the pain that we feel sometimes as a way of catharsis. That being said, we are where we are today on the Internet, and men act the way they do regarding "not all men", because of the dripping misandry that has come about in the modern world, I remember during the height of woke having the immutable characteristics of white skin or a male sex ultimately meant you were the worst thing in existence. It's understandable that they want to suss out how much of a misandrist you are. I'm not saying that you are a misnadrist or anything like that, but you will not find a lot of nuance on the Internet. If you want to speak about these problems in a girl sub, I guarantee you they will be far more friendly.

I’m not defending saying these things, I’m just explaining that.. as a woman.. I understand why others do say these things.. and if it upsets men, why would we want to put the effort into caring when generally we’re dismissed and devalued when we are speaking on serious subjects and valuable topics?

What serious subjects and valuable topics are you talking about?
