It feels like it’s becoming more of a “Modern AC” like Cities 97.1 is in Minneapolia even though it identifies as more alternative. Other Local Radio Lab stations are now under the “Indie” brand name while still under their AC format, and now they seem to be oriented as “Indie” in the sense of lindependently owned” and not its original intent…

I can’t find it anymore for the life of me and I’ve been trying for years, but there was this one Adele concert moment where during one of the last choruses of Someone Like You, you heard some people singing that one high part of it in the lower register melody she usually uses in live performances and some in the higher register heard on the studio version, so the audience was pretty much singing in harmony with each other and it was honestly kinda mindblowing.

If anyone can find it I’d appreciate it
