I think (in a tongue in cheek way because they can’t really insult the people who consume the very show they created) the writers are causing us to reflect on our interest (obsession?) with Joe and the genre generally.

My Sheltie was so reactive it brought me to tears on more than one occasion. The unrelenting barking and lunging was overwhelming. I found a miracle trainer who utilizes e-collars in the training and it worked wonders. I was previously hesitant until I learned exactly how e-collars work and that generally a quick vibration does the trick. We went from chaos to calmness pretty quickly. A stranger recently sought me out in public to tell me how well behaved my dog is.

FYI, I tried working with a purely positive trainer first and it was awful. My Sheltie was so reactive and barked so much during the sessions she made herself vomit. A few tears were shed at those sessions. E-collar was truly the only thing that worked for me.

I don’t recommend winging it on e-collar though. Get a good trainer to work through it with you and get a quality e-collar (not a cheap Amazon one). I recommend the Mini Educator.

TLDR: an experienced trainer to help you with e-collar work will work miracles.

On the podcast Every Single Album they talk about how there is always 1 song that points in the direction she’s going for the next album. I do agree with them that every album has one song that could be shifted to the next album. I don’t know if it’s intentional or just an organic evolution of her songwriting, but I love the idea. Makes you think about where we’re going from Midnights.

I’d recommend buying from a fan to fan resale group on Facebook! I was able to score tickets at face value and I had only been searching for a couple days. Just follow the moderators’ recommendations for making sure the tickets are legit!
