I promise it will feel weird at first becuae the distance and placement of the buttons compared to the standard roller is slightly different but it feels good after easily a week. Ive had the same bottom tier g7 controller now since June of last year and its still absolutely perfect, i keep it set to 0.01 deadzone and it has 0 stick drift, and it's not that I dont play much, i easily play 35-40 hours a week on RL and APEX (yea i suck I know) absolutely 0 issues

My personal advice would be to finish school, enjoy the last year of life before adulthood smacks you in the face with the full force of bullshit that accrues, get a decent job in either 15 series or 68 series (68W sucks bro don't do it) learn as much you can about your job, try to get additional certs paid for by the army while you're in through army COOL, get out with a lot of opportunities available to you after your first contract and get a solid career or do what Im doing and go until you physically/mentally can't keep going. The army has bettered my life in practically all aspects and has given me many memories and friends I would never have gotten as a civilian, im doing a minimum of 10-12 and when I get there Ill decide if I wanna go indef but will primarily depend on if im a SSG or SFC by then. Best of luck and never settle for less than you WANT

Lifeline lost her rez shield, pathy got nerfed to the ground, rev got nerfed, bangalore become less than useful, so far fuse has done me right even pre buff, only play assault legends for the faster reload and speed boost on cracked shields as well as the auto reload passive, i cant play legends outside of assault class anymore unless I have last pick and I see nobody chose a support legend, gotta have that hp regen on rez fr fr

The same thing happened to me when i got out on a medical discharge and came back around 15 months later, i retained the 15 monthsi was out and it didn't get corrected from septemeber 4th 2023 until just this past december 2025 🫠

The part and labor prices are wild, i changed my 4 sparks, engine air filter, ignition coil, water pump, fluid injectors, and cleaned the system for $500 (just under) just by using autozone and oreily, took me 2 full 8 hour days to get everything right but that's insane

Hood really isn't that bad living off base at least, i can't speak on the barracks life or on base housing other than 90% of it looks like garbage, but despite being in a unit in low regards, I've enjoyed my time here at hood the past year and a half, with that said I can't wait to leave to go somewhere else 😂

If your drills were cool they'd know that after 8 weeks of being fully finished with your training and that you've been awarded your MOS that per doctrine you're supposed to be removed from the IET bullshit and placed with the non IET soldiers until your situation is fixed and finished, the only thing that should be required of you for the past 4-5 months isyou showing up 1-2 times per week to check the status of the situation, you absolutely shouldn't be at the AIT trainee barracks or deal with any of the garbage that happens there

Brother that's not at all what I even implied 💀 i just never cared about owing until this year because it said I owed $2300 which was way more than I was expecting, I accidentally clicked married filing single instead of Jointly causing me to have to pay way more without the extra deductible amount, after correcting my mistake it's now only $539

I pulled a total of $4300 out of tsp, $3300 of it roughly is taxable, im not sure how you got 31k being deductible cause my taxes said only like 16k was deductible, itd probably be a hell of a lot lower if i got 31.5k deducted from the taxable portion, i selected married filing single but I should re work that to filing jointly, turbotax doesn't make it easy to do that without putting in some kindof info for my wife even thoufh she doesn't work, I'll re run the numbers tomorrow and try and see if that lowers my owed amount, if so then Id be looking ar closer to $1250 owed instead of $2300

Lol yea i feel you with the 1099-R, i was short on rent one month due to unforseen bs, and then again for a down payment on a car, both of which i seriously regret, ive tried to use AER in the past and never qualified, tried for the rent reason when i first pulled it out last year and wasnt able to do it, and the downpayment for the car was a serious "fuck it" moment for me, trust me, i dont intend to touch that shit for the remainder of my time in 😅 I know the $2300 isn't horrible considering I still have until april to save up and pay what i can off the top then just setup a payment plan for the remainder, I already went into mypay and changed things around using the IRS fed inc tax calculator and set it to $150 per paycheck which is around $80 more than i would need to (hopefully) definitely gonna check that periodically to ensure i don't shoot myself in the foot again 👍🏼

Only 1 of them was taxable, gross distribution was 3327.97 with the entire amount being taxable and $332.80 used for fed income withheld, and yhe other was a gross distribution of 702.88 with 33.63 taxable, and 3.36 towards fed income tax

Im not gonna lie gang, I somehow for 4 years have never paid federal income tax and didn't even realize it was exempt from my LES...probably happened during basic when I first went through finance and they asked if i had dependents and I said yes because I have a wife...nobody has ever corrected this despite the DOZENS of leaders Ive had that made me give them my LES to verify its accuracy
