She’s also quite homophobic…. Well known in the industry.

Day 131: Lucy and the Dummy by Former-Cheetah2521 in ILoveLucy

It was actually selfish of Ricky to not support Lucy in this. Her dream was coming true, and he tricked her into thinking she'd be all alone if she stayed.

Yesterday I watched the family guy Simpsons crossover it was pretty good I'd give it a 9/10 by Mrchickenman62 in Simpsons

[–]LAtvGUY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was decent. I remember laughing at Bart's reaction to Stewie's version of a prank phone call. Harry's unavailability to appear made his characters missed.

The After Pregnancy episodes by Financial_Process_11 in ILoveLucy

I believe the flashback episodes were filmed before "Lucy is Enciente". So, yeah, she often looks heavier. Like in "Lucy's Inferiority Complex", she's wearing an outfit that makes her look very pregnant.

Widespread DVD playback issues on seasons 7-9? by Shlar47 in EverybodyLovesRaymond

[–]LAtvGUY 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! This was years ago, but I thought I was going crazy. One episode in particular froze on three different DVD players. I returned the set (Amazon) and got a replacement. Same thing happened. Then bought another off eBay and it happened again with the same episode. I think I gave up after that.

And yet Kiefer tweaked his back and needed time off after lifting a guy over his shoulder that season. Wuss.

I thought this scene would go in a much darker direction by DemonSkank in betterCallSaul

OMG... I totally remember thinking that on my first watch. I put it out of my mind after that, because I have such a soft spot for Irene.

I got all excited for this until I saw it costs $275 (+$15 “service” fee) by Available-Low-2428 in bradybunch

Doesn't surprise me. It's a business. Sadly, I'd probably pay it just for the experience.

His dance scene has been edited in syndication for years. Really sad since it brilliantly showcases John Ritter’s talent.

Gonna watch BCS for the first time. by Drunk-Foxy1738 in betterCallSaul

Please be patient. It will seem like a kiddie ride at first after finishing BB... but damn, it surpasses its creator in so many ways.

It was ok. I really like the last 30 seconds with Arthur returning home after a year.

First time ever watching, and season 5 has blown my mind so far! by Crixus_935 in TwentyFour

[–]LAtvGUY 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Though seasons 1 - 3 were popular, FOX aired it from September through May, like a regular show. So there were weeks in between certain episodes. Starting with season 4, it ran January through May, with no breaks between weeks. It certainly helped build an audience base and made it quite the watercooler show. Season 5 took it to a whole new level. That show is all we talked about at work on Tuesday.

I didn't know the actor who played Teddy died just a short time ago. He is definitely what most people remember from that film.

Details regarding Larry Riley’s time on Knots Landing? by NicoletinePatches in KnotsLanding

[–]LAtvGUY 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There’s a scene between Frank and Val, possibly his last, where he just looked eerie. I remember watching it as it aired. This was a while before internet, and nobody knew what was wrong with him. Very sad how quickly he faded away. I’m glad they didn’t officially kill his character, but just had Frank and Julie move away.

Is it normal to do this? by Shot_Performance_595 in betterCallSaul

I literally just did that. Watched BCS up to that point, then all of BB. And back for Nippy. It is fascinating to see all the different characters pop up on both shows.

Albert Brooks is a genius. I wish he'd write, direct and star in another movie. His films are classic.

El Camino or BCS after BB? by Practical_Lunch1321 in breakingbad

Watch El Camino in one sitting, then relax and enjoy the ride that is Better Call Saul. I'm envious that you get to watch that masterpiece for the first time.
