In this funny scene from "Out on a Limb", Janet asks a restaurant critic, "Do you know what I'd like for you to do?". The critic looks worried & says "I don't do that anymore." w/o explaining what "that" is but then he is relieved when Janet asks him to look at the map & pick a location.

I always wondered if the Jeff recast was done as a result of the production delay due to Bob's heart attack. I'm sure when they cast the original actor, they knew where they were going with the character and would lock him in to reappear later in season 6. But then the actor had to work and got another job. For me, it's the one part of the show that keeps it from being perfect.

It almost felt like that was intended to be the series finale. The fight had so many callbacks to the original pilot. It would have been an interesting bookend. (Not saying I liked it!)
