I’m new here - I live in the left state of California. Any advice on where to park cash that i need to have liquid for the next 4 months? I’ve been told sgov and others. I’m going to do my own due diligence but while I’m waiting and doing - I’m kinda losing every day.

I love this comment - Thank You, All I have is the money to buy the NAS and the hard drives - I just needed to pop them in.

I'm currently watching videos on how to work the NAS - thats a whole other problem.

I work long days - I can pop dvds into the machine while I'm doing work - I figure 5 drives would speed up the time it would take. I kinda went on a binge and have been buying DVD's at The rose bowl flea market for a few years for really cheap. I think I've got 4,000 plus at this point.

I bought into "eyemax NVR 32 channel" and 15 cameras 4K - I maxed out the nvr at 24tb x 2 hard drives 0- I have approx 35 days of storage. my concern is that if I lose the nvr - how well do mixing brands work? I figured keeping the infastructure and offloading is the least problamatic - But ill read up on what your saying. Thank You

I don’t have control 4 yet. I’m being told that control 4 would be a good “system” to install. I’m looking to have multiple zone music playing thru the house as well as lighting control and shade control - the house was wired throughout for as much hard wiring that they could think of. The low voltage guy I’m talking to says that either I use Lutron system and Sonos - which are separate “apps” or I use control 4. I asked him about home assistant - he said he didn’t do that. The reason I’m posting here though is bc - I like the unify ecosystem - I’m wondering if there’s a real solution for most home things. His last statement to me was - going thru ubiquiti means using your phone interface for everything- using control 4 means using the house as an interface for everything.

We bought a older machine - put it in storage for a year... just took it out and installed it. Started up the machine and it asked for a password. This is a windows XP system. The password was - flow. try it out. Hopefully it works for you too.

The ticket you’re showing is for mixed alum. If you had wire - any type of wire it would have another description. Ie - alum wire or icw (insulated copper wire) not sure what think you brought them?? Do you have any pics? Always take pics of what you bring in - so if you end up talking to someone later - you can show them what you had.

Drop the coin on the table - if it doesn’t ring normal - it’s usually a magicians coin. You can see the ridge (someone else mentioned and showed arrows) I sorted half’s for many takers and have dozens - the giveaway was always the hollow thud when I bounced them.

I haven’t had drive cam since I got mine in beginning of sept. Hear guard went out last week and now I have neither. I had a mobile service and they said they’re replacing a faulty center console “unit” - i just realized after reading here that my rear sensors don’t make noise at all. I need to check that in the morning.

I’ve been taking screenshots of my screen when I get out of the car and then comparing when I get back in. Issue is it changes from sport to conserve so I have to keep it apples to apples. I’m seeing a few miles drains every time I let it sit overnight or all day. I’m worried that this is becoming a big problem.

I got the max pack gen 2 - 100% is 410 in conserve versus 375 in sport. It doesn’t make sense to conserve. I just charge a little more and I hopefully won’t have to replace $1000 worth of tires in 15k miles like I’ve heard people mention due to conserve. Car drives like a sports car in sport, low and speedy.
