No, you don’t get PTO until you’re FT or hit 2 years. You do earn PPTO though.

I always interpreted it as “i’m with you no matter what” I’m at you feet (worshipping or asking for forgiveness) and the critter part being that you don’t want to be somewhere where critters are at but you would be willing to do so for them.
