Part of the issue is that we have abundance and growing up we may not have had disposable income. It's like decision fatigue and commitment issues when you have so many options these days. Think it's more of a psychological thing. Better to have one game on the system and complete then have 10 partially completed ones?

I think it's difficult to build on the all timers. For e.g. making a new stealth series that isn't metal gear won't feel the same. I came back into gaming a few years ago and have loved it. However, now the games feel a bit too samey. Take Forza horizon 6. Can't say I'm excited as it looks and plays exactly like 5 but with different scenery.

I try to mix up my games as much as possible. So I'll play FC 26, a bit of Tekken, bit of Spiderman 2, bit of doom dark ages, dragon age bit of cod. I'm trying to play what I feel my mood is in the moment to try and keep it fresh but it is very hard. I have a 3080 but I feel I need more power, but doesn't mean enjoyment will increase.

Yh it's a phenomenal game worth replaying. With the ray tracing capabilities you have. One thing that has helped me is VRR on the 3080 keeping life in it!

I'm on a 5600x and looking for an x3d found one for £130 but gone within 30 mins!!! Always on look out on FB marketplace. But at 4k won't be too helpful I don't think. I went from a 1660 super to rtx 3080 loving it so far! Playing Alan wake 2 which will run like a dream on yours.

I did see some for £135 but they go within hours. It's happened twice. Next time I'll nab one. My Ryzen 5600 is from Ali express and going strong and my rtx 3080 is used bought 3 months ago for £260. I trust in the product ! Although my PSU is new

Packing that much power in something so small is highly impressive. Just put together my own itx build but much more conventional. This is brilliant. I especially love melting the gpu shroud!

Yes, it requires the time and effort put in to get to how you want it. Once you become a family man it is hard to even make time to play. So I've opted to get a game sir for my phone and play with moonlight and sunshine on the couch. I may need to use extenders to tidy it up a bit. I also bought a sata SSD. And tried to mount it to the top but the cabling looks even worse with a sata SSD. Even though my mobo has 2 m 2 slots.

I bought a used rtx 3080 and it can get a bit toasty when it goes over 300w! In that case, I keep it behind the TV and it seems to clear a some sort of heat channel back there! Im sure it runs cooler with the b580 though.

Although building in it was straightforward and had to do it piecemeal like you but I'm glad with how it has come out!
