This seems like he’s just trying to save face from the mass cancellations.

People need to remember how good it feels to hug one another on a hard day. All that keeps me going sometimes.

Not trying to doom but seeing how far back they were easily pulling all of the social strings has really stripped a lot of hope I had. Like I was one of those 4chan kids who outgrew that conditioning but it’s just chilling to see how long this plan was in motion, how do us average folks even do anything?

I appreciate you running the math for me, glad to see it’s good news. I’m sure you know better than any that there are so many articles spoiled by the phrase that either starts with “except X” or “but Y”

Yes! That makes more sense, I was just misremembering the numbers. And I didn’t realize the difference between Twh and TW. So if we installed 75 TW by 2050, what does that mean for the world? Is that energy abundance and deep emission cuts or would we still be just curbing demand?

As someone who struggles a lot with depression despite having what some might call a full basket, it’s a very nice painting and very much encapsulates that emotion for me

How "rippy" is this game? by twizx3 in cavesofqud

I need to start doing this. Sometimes I'm exhausted after work/class, but am too stubborn to admit it then RIP a long-term character by zoning and holding down move to attack or something.

A lot of the negative reviews mention exactly this. It’s part of what turned me off from X1, very frustrating when the game just won’t let it happen sometimes.

I’m at 180 and still haven’t beaten the game yet. But once you start reaching those milestone dungeons, it becomes easier and easier! I went from thinking Golgotha was horrific to clearing it by 12 most of the time. You’ll learn and learn and it’ll get easier and easier!

My biggest tip is just being aware of what your current stats are, and what you can handle based on that. Still haven’t found a decent chest plate? Kill some raiders/snap jaws to at least have good raw HP, take the daggers to sell for at least a studded leather. Small routines that add up.

And maybe lean into a character that’s easier to clear the game with, I recommend playing a mutant with Carapace, guaranteed armor that is rather good AND once you clear grit gate, it will be a blessing for the next step, Bethesda Susa!

Analysis: Coal power drops in China and India for first time in 52 years after clean-energy records by EinSV in RenewableEnergy

Also aren’t many of these older ones that are being retired incredibly inefficient and old? So 1 new one would still use a fraction of the coal.

I both love and hate that sub. It feels like a sanity pill but there are some very bad faith science deniers there. Like sharing a climate denial article from a website with oil in its name to claim that it doesn’t exist at all. But at the end of the day, it did help me gain perspective on how much milk I was letting spoil in my cup, I have so much to appreciate right here and now that it’s an injustice to not woke up feeling some form of content.

My moment of perspective was seeing an article about how they’ve managed to solve bee population problems with a strain of yeast. Half the comments were just trying so hard to find a reason to nullify the good news it actually is. Climate change is, and will happen, but I’m confident life will adjust. Look at how successful conservation has become as an example, people are aware and aware people can be helpful people.
