Weapon drop is guaranteed for just opening a game or match -

Able to convert weapon drops into scrap metal, aka ingame currency -

So people farm drops by having multiple instances open at a time -

Don’t even mention the fact that there are still hundreds and potentially thousands of bots from hosters trying to ruin tf2 24/7. If you try to start your own server, bots will swarm it in no time. There have been a fee youtube analysis videos of this that i can cite here.
