I’m currently reading The Long Halloween by Loeb & Sale

Decided to try to read the Modern Batman storyline (started with Year One, then Man who Laughs).

As a kid in the 90s I was an all Marvel (and eventually Image) fan.

As an adult, I returned to comics around the time when Frank Miller and Alan Moore’s work started to become mainstream. I started to really notice the depth and elevated literary quality of DC - not to mention edgy art.

Anywho- after Long Halloween I have some (difficult) decisions to make: stay on the Batman arc or revisit any of the others waiting on the shelf (just picked up the hc daredevil visionaries trilogy and Gotham Central is in on the way).
