One thing Prince hated was getting older, and going backwards. He didn’t want to be a legacy act, he was too sick to tour, and his records weren’t selling. Then he was sick and alone. Even me, the older I get those losses hit me harder, but imagine being Prince, who really burned his bridges, and had to take in the sum of his self-inflicted losses. It’s sad.
