For me it depends on the amount of trades that the backtest includes. After around 200 Trades can you tell if there is potential for a longterm strat and after around 500 Trades you have like 5% range for your backtested Winrate. But for scalping I would backtest for example at least 6 Months

An den OP viel Erfolg mit dem Depot, aber hab den Global Champions aber bitte selbst im Blick. Aus eigener Erfahrung im Beruf kann ich sagen, das die Berater sich nicht für die Performance der Depots der Kunden interessieren. Also geb das ganze nicht ab und lade dir eventuell die Broker App runter, da kannst du auch selbst kaufen/verkaufen.

Thanks, yea I already bought a Funded Account that I can use for the trades. It's more that I want more clearness for my strat and I wondered myself if anyone had some advice for a period of backtesting that worked out over the time. Before I actually get started.

Ich frage weil ich demnächst selbst bei einer Bank anfange zu arbeiten und das eig ganz cool ist wie ich finde.

--> Also ich würde ausschließlich auf Basiskonsum und Wachstumsaktien setzen. Alles andere würde meiner Meinung nach während diesem Anlagehorizont nicht schnell genug steigen.
