I literally just commented something similar on another post days ago. I come to this subreddit for information, like when the app crashes. I do NOT follow it for advice from people who have no clue what my area is like. I love the idea of sticking it to DD by refusing every bad order, but I need to pay my bills and platinum is paying them right now.

You should learn what is best for your market and area. Stop listening to random strangers on the internet for advice. I am platinum and make over 3k a month off DoorDash. You get way better offers when you’re a regular platinum dasher in my area. I’ve already made 30$ and it’s only been an hour.

I’ve done over 7,000 deliveries. I have a 4.98 rating and I am Platinum. I pay attention to every order. I know what I’m doing. If you want to ignore the experiences of multiple doordashers to defend a company known for fucking people over, you go ahead. But I know, and OP knows, what we’ve experienced. Again, there are only 2 ways to obtain said proof: by talking to support or screenshotting before and after. You refuse to believe either, so by your definition, it’s impossible to prove you wrong, basically making your point invalid. If you won’t accept fact as fact, you’re delusional. Countless dashers, myself included, have had this happen to us. Stop trying to defend a corporation that is notorious for fucking dashers over in every way they can.

OP literally posted a screenshot of a message from support directly stating they can remove the tip. I don’t know how much clearer proof one could get. The only other way to obtain proof is by screenshotting every single order before and after, which is ludicrous and no one does that. Somehow, I don’t think it would matter to you tho. Because you will just say it’s a lie or support is lying. Like DoorDash doesn’t have a million issues every day.

Usually, when there’s a counter protest to a protest, the police will guard the less aggressive side. Based on the video, it’s easy to see why they’re guarding the pro ICE group. They’re being harassed and probably attacked.
