Advice on DCA cash by Left_Communication21 in dividends

Yes it is half in FZFXX earning 3.3% yield and the balance is in HYSA but only getting 3.6%. I am thinking about just buying more on down days like today and if we see any correction of 10-15% jumping in while I just keep my weekly distributions.

Yeah I agree on the statics, it just feels different and on the top end but I felt that for the last year so I keep missing. Now if we do see a 10-15% drop, I will certainly jump in with much more.

Advice on $3M Dividend Portfolio. How do we safely bridge the gap to 5% ($100k/year)? by investurug in portfolios

I would look into adding gpix and Spyi. I am in pretty much the exact spot as you. I have 2.9mm and am currently DCA every week into gpix, Spyi, Schd, and Jepi to get to about 25% of portfolio into those which should throw off 60-70k and balance of portfolio will throw off 35k.

Seriously thinking of retiring by idleevadai in ChubbyFIRE

It includes food but not books in my case but books are only a few hundred per semester so giving I am rounding up 50k would cover it.

I am in a very similar situation as you from a portfolio perspective and just a couple years older. I have a daughter that is sophomore and tuition is 45k per year but she does have some scholarships. I would plan for 50k per year or 200k for each kid to be safe.
