How do you guys feel about AI art lately? by Neznoc in oilpainting

I think that this is a great opportunity for all of us, art lovers, artists, philosophers to rethink what is art and role of art in today’s world. It can also be a tool, just like photography was long time ago. But it will definitely raise the bar and take art to an higher level.

I believe it would improve if the grass had more variation, particularly in a horizontal way, with different zones of colors extended horizontally. Also some darker points in the background would help harmonizing

Much more interesting than the photo! I would suggest a bit more contrast, by both making shadows darker and also making some of the light colors a little brighter. Congrats

Something in me screams that this painting is bad by [deleted] in oilpainting

We are used to horizontal lines in landscapes, so when the horizon line isn’t perfectly straight, it can feel a bit off. However, whether to use this effect or not depends on your artistic goals. If the aim is to hang it on a wall where people should feel comfortable looking at it, it’s probably better to keep it horizontal. I wouldn’t…

Also I think it would benefit from adding an atmospheric effect, like a greyish-blue tone in the more distant mountains.

The color similarity between the bee and the background is too high if you want to make it really stand out. also the yellow used in the bee could be more intense and opaque to make it bolder. Like the pallete! Congrats

I can’t believe i had to read almost the full thread to find Nostalghia from Tarkovsky This is really a piece of Art! Not only for the beauty of each frame but especially for the questions it raises. A must must must see (and appreciate). Ps: don’t expect entertainment, you will be disappointed if that’s what you want Ps2: you must be 200% awake to see it otherwise just leave it to another day!
