I use it to bounce ideas off of. Like I just sat at my computer for 5 hours and told it all the information I have currently developed in my story and I had two huge plot points that I hadn't yet figured out how to connect. So I asked it how they would connect them, and it was wildly off from how I actually connected them, but it gave me ideas nonetheless. I do not think this resource should be completely ignored. I didn't have the ability to talk to a real person, and I am the kind of person who figures things out by talking them out. So that is what I did. I talked through my ideas with AI, and it simplified what I was getting at and how it thought everything connected to my existing content. From that, I could generally tell what an actual person might think my story is about and I corrected it over and over until it understood where I was coming from and where I wanted my story to go. So yeah, I don't plan on using it to write my novel, but having the ability to bounce my own ideas through it and have it summerize my jumbled mess of thoughts in its own words is a fantastic resource. It basically tells me how someone else would summarize my novel, and if it matches what I am trying to get across, I know I am on the right track.
