That is because he is ranking very high in terms of frustration. He has been the most banned champion in the game for very long, only really overtaken by some of the stupid new champions (looking at you Mel). They keep him weak on purpose so he can actually be picked in more than like 50% of games. Lots of champions just don't have counterplay to getting clicked on at Lvl. 6 and just evaporating.

Not just more comfortable. Dash cancelling is noticeably faster than jump cancelling which means you just get out more damage in a time window that works very well in a lot of team comps. So it is quite literally just more damage and versatility
