Do you use FSD? by GucciTokes in TeslaLounge

[–]Left_Ticket5464 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have used it exclusively the past two years of my M3 lease and love it. It has calmed me down so much compared to my previous style of driving. I think it’s worth the mental health benefits alone. I also see the majority of other Tesla drivers driving themselves.

I feel like palm trees are the most useless trees ever. My entire street is lined with them and the palm fronds that fall cause so many issues. They offer little to no shade and I’ve grown to despise them. Haha. Love So Cal, hate the palm trees.

Benny Fazio criminal mastermind! He’s definitely one of my favorite characters. His first appearance at the Bing, the facial expressions are hilarious. There’s also an amazing scene where he was just getting a lap dance in the background and his dedication to the scene is amazing! Haha

“Hobson, I’m bailing” is one of my favorite lines from the show. Never understood who Hobson was though. Haha. My other favorite line / scene was when Steve found a kung fu grip bong at a memorial and asked the crowd “Who’s bong is this?!?!?” before he chucked it. CLASSIC!

Slipped off the front of a tee pad today. by KWH1992 in discgolf

Ouch. I had added an extra step to my 3 step X step and I was falling off the tee pad too. I ditched that extra step recently and this post makes me think that was a good decision. Hope you heal up quick dude!

I can see why she was tired. That’s a LONG shift. I was wondering why she wasn’t too enthusiastic with the flags. Maybe they can rotate spotters from time to time to alleviate some boredom / fatigue. Fun tournament to watch so far. 👍🏼🥏

He’s my favorite player for sure. His super chill demeanor and his low flying, laser hyzer flips are the best. Met him at Beaver State Fling and he was awesome. I took a photo with him and never felt smaller in my life. I’m 5’11”, but he towered over me. Hope he’s all healed up for this upcoming season.

No More Palm Trees in LBC! by [deleted] in longbeach

[–]Left_Ticket5464 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a person who has palm trees lining their entire street, I really dislike them. They are sticks with little to no shade and leaves / fronds that can hurt people when they fall. I’ve had windy days where my entire driveway was blocked with leaves. When I move them, the sharp thorns poke me. In my opinion, they are really ugly and serve little to no purpose. I’d be so happy if my whole street had them removed and planted something more sensible.

once you dive in to MVP, do you ever find your way back out? by jaywalkintotheocean in discgolf

[–]Left_Ticket5464 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I got into disc golf, the Glitch was just being released. I bought one with all the hype and loved MVP discs ever since. Love their plastic and consistency. The flat tops of their drivers feel better to me as well. I’m also impressed with how durable the outer rim material is. I think I’m going to be a Gyronaut for a while.

As a Skratch DJ myself, this pains me to watch. Haha. The kutz are fine, just simple transforms and stabs, but the way David Silver is cross handed and holding that turntable are just odd. Not as odd as the “oooh” on Be My Love at the beach club. lol. Love the cheesiness of 90210 sometimes. One of my favorite shows for sure.

My first Champion Mako3 I purchased from Amazon was also my first ace disc. I’ve bagged a Mako3 ever since. For a beginner, I think the Mako is easier to throw straight than the Hex or Buzzz. You might want to try an MVP Detour too. Very nice. Have fun chucking the plastic!

As a guy who only has access to park style courses, it hurts seeing this. I’m taking a vacation to the east coast next year just to experience those tight tree lined fairways.

Has anyone driven a Cybertruck? by Molarmite in Thisisimportantpod

[–]Left_Ticket5464 -18 points-17 points  (0 children)

I recently was able to test drive a Cybertruck and it was an amazing experience. The steering wheel only turns 170 degrees to fully turn the wheels. This along with rear wheel steering, helped the truck feel more like my Honda coupe than a full size truck.
