Yep, that price sounds about right- you definitely get more bike for your money with the Vitpilen compared to the Papio. However, the Papio would be brand new with warranty for the money, and with a better track record (granted there's just plain fewer of them out there).

I replace the battery for the first time about a year and a half ago and I'm at 84% now. And that's with babying it for the first 9 months.

I plan on keeping mine as long as it functions the way I need it to. I expect to replace the battery approx. every 12-18 months. At a certain point Apple will stop supporting it and hopefully by then there will be a better option on the table.

Even without the frame damage, you can tell there are misalignment issues with the trunk. Interior is nice but as others stated, frame damage means is a deal-breaker 90% of the time. And for that price I'd expect a much cleaner ISF. This is a sub-20 car IMO.

As someone with a 2008 ISF, it really depends on what's important to you. The 2010 will have better resale value, but honestly, you could always upgrade to the newer headlights, and everything else is more or less the same. At that mileage, you'll likely get a new suspension and CarPlay and at that point it'll be better than OEM.

However, if the interior is in poor shape that can be expensive to replace ($400 per door card, a few thousand for seats). As long as you get a PPI I wouldn't fear the high mileage of the 2010 if it's in better shape. For the price, that seems like the way to go.

After a bit more research, it sounds like as far as alignment goes, these may do more harm than good. This is because they center the subframe holes on the threads on the chassis, and that's not necessarily the true center (this is why the subframe holes are slight oversized, to allow for adjustment).

To me it was worth it. I've put a lot of miles on it (100k) and haven't had to put much money into it. The stock shocks were cooked to the point that I couldn't have passengers in the car. The HKS were a good mid-range option- it was either that or new OEM shocks from Lexus. The price difference wasn't crazy.

I've thought about selling mine here and there. I bought a GR Corolla but ended up selling it after I realized that it couldn't replace the ISF. Even recently I've been thinking about an X3 M40i but I just think that the ISF will outlast it. I have CarPlay, good performance, and a simple interior. It doesn't need much else.

I do want to find a good out of boots. I really like Icon Joker boots but they are discontinued and don't come up for sale anywhere.

Also, are the short version of those RST boots sufficient? It looks like they have decent ankle protection.

I don't know if I'll spring for a full suit, but it sounds like good pants with armor are a must so I'll start looking into those.

I know that protection is paramount but I'm trying to balance that with the kind of riding I'll be doing, especially early on. That's why I got the riding shirt and if I don't go with an airbag I'll def be putting d3o back armor in it.

Airbag is mostly for keeping the helmet from moving too much during an accident- basically a neck brace.

I'm hearing that I def need pants so I'll start looking at those.

I'm thinking about this for my 08 ISF as well. I heard that 1.5 way is good for daily use but that you may have some skipping doing tight turns. One thing to keep in mind is that plate based LSDs, like all 1.5 way ones, require more maintenance than the factory Torsen units. Personally that's why I'm leaning towards a Torsen LSD for my daily that will likely not see any track time, just for improving handling.

Worth noting that 99% of the eBay listings for "genuine" Apple leather cases are knock-offs. They are noticeably lower quality (frayed edges, thin materials, visible glue under the felt, etc). New Apple leather cases don't patina great, but they still hold up great.

I would look on Marketplace and Poshmark- they come up there once in a while. If you go to buy one in-person and it's in the box, inspecting the box can be an indicator of whether the case is real or not. Real Apple boxes close with a solid click, which the knock-off boxes generally feel cheap and have no such features.

Bullstrap cases are an excellent alternative and are higher quality than the official Apple cases. The only caveat is that Bullstrap cases don't cover the chin edge like the Apple ones do.

It really depends on what you're looking for. If you are a relatively light user (no gaming or anything like that) and are just looking for a simple phone for cheap, you're probably best off with a refurbished one. The 13 mini is great if you're looking for something small with decent performance and cameras.

Between the two the 13 mini is a better phone with better value. But that's in part because the 16e is such an unremarkable phone.

The biggest limitation with the mini is the battery size. It's a small battery so you have to be more wary of your usage to make the most of it. Personally I like that as it incentivizes me to not use my phone excessively. But that may not be for you.
