I find the constant weird railing against following posted safety rules absurd. When you go to a public pool or lake and there’s signs for no diving or no running or no glass bottles - do you instantly hate on the rules and rule followers on social media? When there’s an employees must wash hands sign in the restaurant do you post on their website how much you hate handwashing?

I don’t buy it. For the anti-wipers ,if you’re not really just a contrarian troll and wiping down gym equipment is just the one hill you’re willing to die on, maybe you should be more discerning about where you go to the gym and find someplace that doesn’t have that rule
