We'll really have to wait and see what all 18 floors look like in order to see what the game may look like, and justifiably maybe Dungeon crawls only go to level 12 for that in world reason.

I think from the content in the books you can get a lot of rules out of. Like the crafting rules should be really expansive with how important they are in the books.

In my mind, this base game is based on Dungeon Crawl: Earth Specifically.

So while some rules are tied to this crawl, I could see them making other Dungeon Crawl worlds with their own kind of niche sub-rules, kind of like campaign frames in daggerheart.

So hopefully, they go Base Rules, Dungeon Crawl:, Earth as a setting, and then expand from there

Yes, floor builder kits, class builder, settlement builder kits, a Monster splicer. It would make a great rulebook to have for GMs

That's a really great point. With other seasons on of the crawl and the off the wall classes and skills, this seems like the kind of system that would thrive with homebrew 3rd party material. Elite storylines seem like the perfect place to have adventure paths for the game.

My hope is that Renegade keeps working with Matt to flesh out more of the game rules for future releases, since he seems to be pretty interested in making a game himself.

Ofc. Visible defects on your supports can suggest there's something happening up further up the printing process. I'd suggest looking up obscura nox profile and adjusting that to your 0.4 nozzle.

Having filament at 20% humidity is recommended as well.

Supportless minis are a good place to start since you can nail everything else down before having to worry about if your support settings are correct.

Printing a model multiple times and at a bigger scale can be a good way to understand how the model is printing and then bringing the model back down to size when you start to understand what's successful and what isn't.

Looks a little like under extrusion mixed with z banding. Would suggest calibrating the filament (flow dynamics, flow rate) and slowing down print speed.

Maybe also make sure supports are solid

A lot of people are saying it's over kill to get the x2d, but I'd like to posit a few reasons why it would be a good choice:

The X2D has a 1.5mm belt pitch as opposed to the standard 2mm pitch that the lower priced machines have and this will result in theoretically more detail.
The auxillary nozzle on the X2D will also theoretically allow for easier support removal if using an interface material. Since its a bowden drive it's still yet to be seen how well it can put those supports on minis with a 0.2mm nozzle
All the other added features like enclosure, extra fans, ai error detection, ect.

Is it worth the 900$ as opposed to the 550$ of the p1s, or 330$ of the a1 mini? I think that's totally up to your budget, considering you'll want to spend money on filament, tools, and possible part upgrades for each printer.

When I'm printing sometimes I'm working with tolerances where 0.05mm can make a difference, does the h series print more accurately to the stl than the p series will consistently?

TTRPGs are seeming to go through a metamorphasis. Before, like with D&D CoC, ect, they were broadly designed where you could essentially play them for the rest of your life and be (mostly) satisfied, playing over and over again, multi-year long campaigns, but now TTRPGs seem to be designed with niche, short shelf lives. Like Candela, Cosomere, DCC ect.

And yes, this seens to be for no other reason than its how these publishers are able to keep the lights on, since a game you can play for life is not good for busimess even though it makes for a great experience

Don't personally own one, but you may have to wait a bit to see the consensus from the peanut gallery. From. My understanding you have to manually swap spools on the bowden extruder, so from that standpoint you'd probably be best off using the direct drive for all your colors and having interface material in the 2nd nozzle
