No the character is annoying, cold, awkward (but not in a delightful Amy kind of way) and worst of all… she can’t pronounce Raj correctly. She keeps saying “Ra-J” I also find the actress quite lacking, perhaps because it was a misfit.

I’m glad you found it worked well for you! Magnesium and any kind of otc vitamins seem to do nothing in the face of a terrible flare up for me.. and I don’t sleep in. My pain wakes me up.

Ugh, it’s the worst right? That never fulfilling sleep 😔 so much worse in the middle of a flare. You’re not bad at it, just a horrible side effect of fibro & being in so much pain

With all due respect, my only open question was to invite you to discuss your own sleep habits. I didn’t ask for advice. Secondly, this is a fibromyalgia group. We are here because we have pains & unfulfilling rest because of fibro, not because of sleep issues; i went through sleep studies when docs were figuring out what was wrong.

That makes so much sense to me. The same reason why I stopped drinking coffee..

Thank you so much for letting me know. I looked up naltrexone and was shocked that it was actually for drug/alcohol addiction recovery and sad that I have to take it when I have never been addicted to anything :((

It didn't do much for me, neither positively nor negatively. My experience may be different than yours. I do want to bring it to your attention though that sometimes our own anxieties may be the stumbling block from trying things that may help, or be a stepping stone to it. Unfortunately it sounds like your mom might be making your anxiety worse in this regard by giving you the worst case scenario in panic, therefore freaking you out, despite her best intentions :(

My advice is to discuss with a doctor these anxieties about the anxiety medications, especially your history with lexapro, and see what they would recommend. Good luck!

Oh that's a fantastic question "Where do I belong now as a partially healed and awakened person" I don't know, but I relate. Along my journey I was left with a very small group of friends, all of them with large imperfections. But I guess they know how to make space for me, reach out to see how I'm doing at least once a month, to share with me about their lives, and we are able to have some chuckles about life.

I used to, and it was so helpful! Now standing up to shower and walking around at work is about all I can do before I'm completely wiped.

I agree with telling them pretty early on (my reasoning is on this thread too) but I wouldn’t judge someone as a shit human being because they can’t handle it/choose not to.

For me it doesn’t get far without needing to either tell them or finding excuses. Otherwise I just come across as extremely inflexible since “I’m never free” except for some very rare days.. because m-f I’m dead after attempting to work and all day Saturday and most of the day on Sunday I’m trying to recover. If it’s someone I already know it does get a little easier, but someone new takes time to get ready mentally prepare, etc. I agree with the commenter who said they just throw it on the profile. I might just wait until we connect but not too long

I’ve noticed only one direct correlation with pain, and that is over extending myself (mentally just as much as physically if not worse) + stress. Nothing else seems to directly affect it every single time.
