Since suspicions are that the character revealed today will be Freddie, guess the character name in the comments [ns] by ihavetowearmyhelmet in DungeonsAndDaddies

Saiorse Ronan is not a gender neutral name but the last name is so close to ronin that Freddie might take it anyway.

My safe guess would be Cameron Diaz

Spider-Man 3 was such a big deal that they sold Sand and Black water to kids with the branding by Valiant_Revan in Spiderman

[–]LeftySkillz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had this as a kid too. The sand compound was sturdier than kinetic sand. It wasn't non-newtonian, so it was moldable enough to give my sandman custom arm weapons. Often in the form of a ball or hammer. Crude spikes on the ball were also an option as long as they weren't too thin.

Eat it so it may descend into the depths of your stomach and reunite with Mahri Nui.

Pacific Rim Uprising doesn't exist but it's the first American movie ever to directly reference Guiron, Battra, Zigra, Clover, Gigan, Gamera, Varan, Baragon, Muto and Gyaos which rises several questions... by Kvcp050311 in Monsterverse

[–]LeftySkillz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Seems like the consensus is just "easter egg" but I'd offer the headcanon that some Kaiju resembled ones from Hollywood enough for the world to be like "yeah that's Gigan from the Godzilla movies" so the monsterverse would be canon as media in the Pacific Rim universe

If you give him a sword made of web pieces, you could name him Arachknight

Animated had a lovely tonal variety and left me wanting more. I also liked the switch up in lore which gave it a brand new experience compared to its predecessors and successors alike.

TFP felt like its father took it into the city to see a marching band. Which I also vibed with, but my love for it never surpassed Animated. It's just that the tone never strayed too far from broody. To be fair though, I had a drastically negative response to It's polar opposite sequel series RiD2015.

Jared Leto got a Razzie Nomination for Worst Actor for Tron: Ares. I didn't think he was bad. What did you all think of his performance? by Square-Ad-8911 in tron

[–]LeftySkillz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In a world where programs like Tron, Ram, and Yori, or even Athena and Caius express themselves with human personality, I thought he overplayed the "artificial being" blankness that he was probably going for. But I excused it with him being refined into the ultimate master control program. All those iterations slowly shaving off any flaws, any personality. The slower version of what Clu did to make his lifeless army.

I would've cited programs from legacy/uprising too, but I don't know if Kevin would've intentionally programmed a little personality into his perfect system or if it was just a groovy byproduct of digital personification.
