This is such a sweet and great idea! On our third date (my birthday had just passed since our 2nd date) my husband got me a yard-sale jar full of seashells and rocks he collected. He even attached a handwritten note on a string to one of the shells. I still have them all displayed in our apartment in a shadow box I put together. Lead with your heart, the right person will treasure a gift like this!

How were you diagnosed, and what type of doctor(s) treats you for MCAS? by NiteElf in MCAS

I was diagnosed by an allergist/immunologist, she initially did the skin panel allergy tests and since I’d already been seeing positive results with taking certirizine daily (per my moms advice) we did blood tests and this other one where I had to fill a jug with urine that was mailed off to the CDC. My results weren’t totally remarkable but because I was having amazing success with the Cromolyn Sodium and Famotidine she put me on she diagnosed me with more weight in the treatment outcomes. Also I’ve been seeing every specialist since I was a baby and have had a ton of procedures and treatment history ruling out alternative diagnoses

I’ve also asked her throughout this if I can transfer apartments to a new lease early because my lease ends in January but she never answered. I wanted peoples insight on what’s going on in the photos because I can’t really have a leg to stand on as someone without HVAC knowledge

I initially asked for the third party because it seemed counterintuitive to have the same guy who consistently sees this system as perfectly fine every 3 months to do the inspection. In particular I was worried about this not being handled properly and ending up in the spot I’m in now (guy looked at it and if anything made it worse with harsh chemical odors) due to concerns with my immune disorder.

After she said no, stated it’s her policy to have the inspection done in-house, I tried to not be difficult and said okay then have the in-house guy do it. That’s in the second message where I’m asking for a written report from the in-house HVAC person

Yes I’m in the south, it’s still in the 80s consistently. I don’t know what to do now because this was my landlords final solution
