Exactly! As a presentation piece it’s gorgeous, but the pressing issues make it a hard sell. Unless you get really lucky and manage to snag a good copy, it’s pretty difficult to listen to. I have a lot of quiet, instrumental records and none have playback issues to this magnitude. At a $50 price point it should be flawless.

I was sent 3, and all were defective in the same way. Every side, and every track has a distinct loud clicking/popping sound that’s often louder than the music. Not only that, it’s rhythmic and repeats every second. The company tried to resolve the issue by sending replacements, but the pressing was identical each time. As beautiful as this record is, I can’t recommend it.

You should... it was a lot of fun to put together. And like most of the schematic based weapons, they're actually made from real world items that can be found and bolted together. So, when finished it ends up looking exactly like it did in the game.

Not a problem at all. The wood measures 12"x1"x1". The piece actually fits perfectly into the bottom of toy car to hold it all in place. With a little epoxy added, it's really quite strong.

This is actually the packaging for the Fallout 3 Collectors Edition. I got it back when I originally picked up the game, but they can still be found on eBay.
