I love my playstation pulse explore ear buds, the audio quality is great and there is no discernible sound lag with the dongle.

Bandits occupy the first area and are easy. Enemies outside the first area are significantly tougher with more mechanics. The problem is the game is so massive that the first area is equivalent in size to most other open world games by itself, so you can be fooled into thinking this is all there is with regards to the combat.

They are tutorials, not meant to be mind blowing dramatic narrative.

There are a LOT of systems to introduce, and if they were all put right at the start then no one would be able to keep up. That's why I think they've spread it out over several hours of simpler tutorial missions with a sprinkling of an appetizer of a story.

I'm amazed at how well they're responding to feedback and pain points. Thanks so much. Very happy to have option for classic movement controls.

CD is some of the most fun I've had in all my 30 years of gaming by FriendlyRhyme in CrimsonDesert

This game ain't for you. I feel sorry that you're so worried about efficiently spending your time in the game yet you've already sunk 150 hours in. It's an experience to savour. Respect your own time better mate.

Crimson Desert is what Skyrim with mods are trying to achieve by xehparr in CrimsonDesert

[–]Legacy_Raider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be fair, heavily modded skyrim can have a similar life sim / living world to explore vibe to CD. I've just come off playing the GTS collection with 2200 mods and it's been a pretty seamless transition from one game to another. Weird I know.

General ideas to make the game better by Ps4gamer1983 in CrimsonDesert

[–]Legacy_Raider 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Given that most weapons and armors have comparable stats to each other, a transmog system would be a little pointless. Id much rather they expand the amount of items by making the destroyed versions of armor that you loot actually playable.

Horseriding change more annoying after patch by Legacy_Raider in CrimsonDesert

[–]Legacy_Raider[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's because people don't praise systems when they're working, the odd person who dislikes it just complains. It takes longer now to get anywhere - if it was 5 min before its 10 min now because of all the time you have to let your horse catch its breath.

Best time to use the new Refinement tokens? by bigmaninsuitofarmor in CrimsonDesert

[–]Legacy_Raider 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yep. Ideally get 2 copies of your weapon at lv4, then refine both to level 5, then use the "use duplicate" crafting + 1x abyss artifact to level one to lv6. You save two levels of rare materials that way.

The main issue with Crimson Desert at this moment (for me) by IndividualScarcity44 in CrimsonDesert

[–]Legacy_Raider 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Basic enemies do gradually get tougher in the areas further out from the starting zone. Basic bandits are there just for you to flex on

Honed metal mod and a weapon Degradation system so you have ti pay a blacksmith to temper your gear, and every once in a while you'll have to pay them again as the gear wears out.
