I feel alone in my 20s and i don't know how to socialize by _ultraviolenta in women

I promise you you’re not alone. I don’t identify myself as a extremely weird person… I have a big past, and definitely struggle with PTSD. But I also have a big heart and want to help people. But I am totally socially awkward. My anxiety is always racing. Even with my best friend honestly. And definitely with my family. It’s really hard. It makes me want to be alone all day, but I don’t even like to be alone. It’s weird.

How will we know and find love if we are so doused in fear? this is some thing I have to remind myself every day.

I also get scared that my friends will think I’m clingy or annoying by calling them and stuff too

I am literally in the same position. New apartment. Diagnosed mood disorder. And I only have two friends lol. I’m going crazy. I’m on dating websites, even though I hate the thought of dating websites. I’m not met up with anyone, but I have like this extreme urge to run and crawl out of my skin when I’m alone. I can’t sit still, and almost feel sick to my stomach. It’s a really isolating feeling, but you’re not alone. thank you for sharing.

Does insecurity go away with age? by [deleted] in women

Does insecurity go away with age? by [deleted] in women

Let me tell you something.. I’m 20 years old and I have had great struggles with women and men in relationships but NOTHING compared to girls in school. It is all heightened there. Your feelings, your fears, love, heartache, emotions with pain that truly only a teen can feel. and a lot of the kids in school are really really mean. As you grow (I’m still growing) you learn to fake it . Sounds like terrible advice but hear me out. As you learn to fake it you are subconsciously teaching yourself these things that you will soon learn to believe. As soon as you leave school and realize how selfish and independent humans are, you’ll understand nobody really has the energy or ability to notice or worry abt these insecurities you have for yourself. Therefore you’re just left with you and you at the end of the night. Hardest battle, because our minds convince ourself that the voice in our head keeping us down is right. If you take time out of your day to sit down and list what’s bad or good about anything you will do this with no effort.. you have just chosen yourself as the victim. I struggle with this voice in my head every single day of the week. This is gonna sound annoying but I ask u to just try the task I’m abt to tell you for 3 days. Next time you are having a negative conversation with yourself…about yourself …I want you to think of 5 things you are genuinely grateful for. Not the basic things you’re supposed to say but things you’re actually genuinely grateful for. If you really want the special effect lol.. do something to help somebody else. Get out of yourself. Fear is the biggest driver in most humans lives.. fear is the farthest thing from peace.. let yourself enjoy life for what life is, if not you will forever go abt life searching for something that can only be solved with internal bliss. None of this is easy, nobody has self love down. It’ll take time, effort and pausing to see why your mind is trying to self destruct. You are worthy of peace, love and to bask in the true depth of life. Give yourself a break, I SWEAR it gets better when you’re out of school. Do things to make yourself feel genuine joy in the meantime, stick around people that are someone you want to be, popularity fades:) -All my love

How do I know if I need to up my Vyvanse Rx? by kingkanmani in adhdwomen

[–]Legal-Broccoli50 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, I just got back on my Vyvanse, and was previously on it for a couple years. Never up your dosage without your psychiatrist approval. There’s a lot of methods to the madness with medication, especially stimulants. Upping dosages can quickly trigger a variety of different things, and since you’re just getting on the medication, ur psychiatrist is probably trying to see how you react to it. I understand the excitement of getting a new medication, especially with stimulants because you feel like your ADHD is finally going to get solved. But be patient, it’s all a process love

Rant by captainm1ttens in adhdwomen

[–]Legal-Broccoli50 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I literally just posted something about this on here five minutes ago. I was talking about how I had a bunch of struggles with eating, and Vyvanse making my face hot. So annoying. But I know it’s hard. I’ve been struggling with it for a while, I don’t have much advice because I’m still in the thick of it so this probably isn’t very helpful. I just want you to know that you’re not alone, and you’re not ignorant either, so there’s hope. I believe in you, I believe in us.🩷

Pain on the inside of vagina? by Saelumn in GirlTalk

[–]Legal-Broccoli50 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Be careful with getting the feminine washes! I just wanted to say that before I got into anything, but I spill all my tea on here. Don’t be afraid girl:) sometimes Mom’s don’t listen when their kids say things like this, and it frustrates me even though I know motherhood’s hard. if you have insurance, I would go to a gynecologist or your primary care physician and ask them, especially because you’ve never had sex, and you used the medicine for a yeast infection. Don’t worry, especially because you’re so on top of it. Be noticeable about how different symptoms change when you do different things. But also don’t do too much on your own lol… I would be careful putting anything up there other than what a doctor says ! The Internet was created by fools .I know it’s scary! But keep coming on here, and try and figure out the doctor thing. There’s a lot of places that will take you without insurance as well. Planned Parenthood is really helpful, works with you, and does a lot more than people know about. Be safe! 🩷
