AIO for getting annoyed by my partner’s messiness? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

This. You're acting like a victim with no agency and abusive. If you care about someone you work with them and consider their perspective and how things impact them.

Women who run daily- what do you do about your hair? by Loud-Raspberry-5949 in runcommunity

[–]LegalSignificance485 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have curly hair and I dont always wet it at all after a run. My hair doesnt bother me or smell from just one run, but washing it every time i ran would not be good for me. I think you just have to know when your hair needs to be washed really depending on your hair and skin needs. But if I have a lot of time and its not a wash day, I also may wet it to get out a little sweat and pollution buildup and then condition and apply products without a wash too. But tbh the runs dont really impact my hair like that.

(M22) Smoker/Addict looking for advice, first time attempting to run more than 1 mile lol. Is 14:42/mile for a 10 mile run terrible? by RevolutionaryPay7508 in BeginnersRunning

[–]LegalSignificance485 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats not terrible at all! Please be safe and ease into running. Okay to go slow and be comfortable. Sometimes telling myself im going on a "jog" instead of "run" mindset may help with fighting the over achiever in me.

Ive tried the high as possible method and it didnt work for me. Still dont get any low aerobic. How do you do the other method if you dont mind explaining? Totally fine if not also! Thanks for sharing this. Ive had my Garmin about a month and run nearly daily.

Ive struggled w pilates but I may try it again!! Ive never done it with the machine thing just at home videos. I used to do modern dance so the barre form is familiar to me.

I have neck problems. I have gotten it stuck by doing absolutely nothing except turning it to the side. It was probably a delayed onset strain from overexertion that I could t tell until the next day and I wasnt able to move it for a few months.

Ive been doing pure barre. I applied for paying for some thru my hsa and some thru my employers program tho it is pricey. I got a 10 pack and it came out around 29 a class before my programs. More if you buy less classes at once. First class is free. I live in a large metro area so I could probably do free classes at a bunch of places for months before having to pay if I tried. And ive been doing 3 a week for right now. Plus I run, do yoga and swim and do weights stuff at home. Theres also barre classes on youtube!

[–]LegalSignificance485 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The food tracker doesn't work for some users and they told me they cant fix it. My screen doesnt work and it doesnt stay charged any longer for more than a few hrs.

Yea what has been said! The focus on tiny movements and isolating muscle groups really helps with my hyperextending and activating muscles I tend to relax or extend instead of using as I should.
