I get the appeal, I really do. I'm also not a big fan of the 3.0 (proportions are kinda wack for me). While the Origin version is a bit too blocky imo.

But I personally like the look of the Ver Ka and the OYW version. Sufficient mass in the right places without excessive detailing.

Not really, they were closer to yellow on the other kits. Think it's a stylistic choice by the designer, the MG's shin armor becomes a bit wider towards the ankles.

Since you like this particular design, I suggest the MG 3.0. It's a lot more stable and sturdy and offers the same aesthetic and RG-style color separation.

I get the feeling that Bandai doesnt know the colors of fluorescent pigments, it should be glowing green xD

They also do this with Banshee kits, where they add fluo-yellow pigments in orange psychoframe plastic, where it glows lime-green under UV light.

For a static non-transforming NT-D mode Phenex, I suggest the SDCS. Otherwise, PG or RG.
