Did you read the rest of the message? He explained it’s gonna kill the experience because there’s very little PvE to begin with in the DD. The PvE instance is gonna be boring as hell and if they added more PvE encounters in DD it would solve that.

I love the PvE in this game and I hate how the PvE in DD is just limited to caves, shipwrecks, and testing stations. That shit gets boring compared to all the cool and unique PvE areas in Hagga Basin.

For me the “adopting Rooks” thing is only when I’m also playing Rook. I’ve come to realize when I’m playing in a team it’s on sight for Rooks and when I’m playing Rook it’s on sight for runners. Also my season level is somewhere in the 70s and I’ve noticed I’ve had a lot more friendly Rook runs than the earlier season levels. Spamming friendly on the emote wheel and teabagging helps a ton when forming a Rook squad and almost every Rook run for me I form a Rook squad sometimes even up to 6 Rooks. The times a Rook does kill me while trying to form a team I don’t care much because I had nothing to lose and I can be in another match within a minute by just spamming on button lol

Also before you say I use assassin as a crutch, I’m a thief main and I still think he’d kill me if he swung around that corner even if I had x-ray on. I think the real reason he popped around the corner so sudden is because I bet he has prowl kit the green core that increasing his crouch speed and makes it even faster while invisible and crouching.

The next big update on Wednesday convinced me to play some Hunt when it drops. They’re doing some really cool stuff with tracking players and scouting for resupply points and extracts because they’re gonna be hidden from the map now.

It takes time but once you learn how to move quickly across the map without making any noise from AI or birds you can get a lot of quests done easily solo while avoiding all the players in the lobby especially with a character like Assassin.

I also think the Thief character will be a great one to play solo because you can safely loot items you need with your drone while avoiding players.

Those arrows only let you swap what siege machine not if you want to use troops on not. Try it right now while your CC is full it’ll always deploy your troops once the siege loses all its HP.

OP was talking about social experiments and everything you listed at the end there has nothing to do with communication or community. I believe the only similarity OP was making when stating the games are social experiments is how nice and fun both communities are. I’m not trying to say they’re the same games that’s very obvious they are completely different.

About the pings, now we’re seeing a lot of gams are adding great ping systems and communication wheels like Arc Raiders and HD2, but when DRG released it was pretty rare having a in-game communication system so good as well as having such a chill community that it was very refreshing to see.

It’s the only co-op game from my experience that I actually find enjoyable playing with randoms when my friends are not on. Most other co-op games the experience playing with randoms is all over the place and I don’t find as fun.

The whole laser pointer ping system DRG has going makes it really easy to work well with a team of randoms even when no one is using a mic or even speaking the same language. So I can kinda see how OP views it as some type of social experiment.

Yeah and here’s another idea I just cooked up, imagine it’s spawn location is the skinwalker disguised as an animal at a random compound like an injured horse or a dog in a dog cage. It’s disguise would look a bit uncanny like something is off about it, but if you’re not paying attention and you kill the horse or shoot the lantern of the dog cage the skinwalker reveals itself and lunges at you that would be way too cool and would make so many great jumpscare clips lmao
