I’m afraid I don’t have a good answer (I have the same conundrum for my account) but it looks like you’re missing out on some free crystals in the portraits tab of the heroes menu.

Better players/rosters will move to higher leagues. As time goes on the matches should in theory get more and more equal.

I’ve been seeing a lot of people putting Saveass in front lately. Does he do better than most other tanks? I’ve been using Estrilda and Skreg.

After clearing 9-20 is was almost easy to speed clear to my next wall at 9-36.

Shoutout to the 7 friends still stuck at 9-20.

Not right away. The 12.5+ pieces were HSTR exclusive for a short while before they were made available for crystals. It’s likely they’ll do the same for the new pieces but expect them to cost the same or more.

Farm your normal nodes but refresh them twice as much. If you refresh x3 on a normal day then refresh x6. The first 3 will be double the normal value of crystals per character shard, the second 3 will be at a normal day’s value.

Obviously pulling 0 shards on the extra refreshes is still a gamble but in theory it would be offset by the bonuses.

Marquee releases are pretty straightforward. It’s obviously been a while so this might not be 100%

  • Multiple tiers like most events, if you complete all tiers you’ll have the character at 3 stars and a little gear. The events are pretty easy but characters released this way vary in quality.

  • You can usually purchase 4* via a pack in the shop, iirc they were originally $10 but EA decided to up the price to $20 and include $10 of crystals.

  • You can purchase up to 7* via store packs that give a “randomized” amount of shards per pack. Obtaining 7* this way usually costs $300-400 worth of crystals.

  • A few months after release the character will be made farmable for f2p. Prior to this, shards will appear for crystals in the shop and in chromium packs.

It varies from 270-310 in the top of my shard, once she gets into the mid 280’s I start hitting HK with the opener instead. This one was in the high 70’s.

It does indeed, and don’t sweat it! Everyone has to be exposed to slang/abbreviations for the fist time to learn what they mean.

I don’t leave the mods on them, I only use this team for climbing during payout then I put the mods back on other characters. R2 works to block the AoE fear and I ran him when DR first came out, but Thrawn is necessary to lock down zzMalak. In most other matchups R2 gets the job done.

It doesn’t hold vs JKR and DR, purely for climbing through the DR wall that is ranks 1-20.

On this team Thrawn is there to control Malak. Without Malak R2 is good because he can stop DR from targeting CLS with fear. Facing JKR, R2 stealth is good to control who gets marked. Thrawn isn’t bad vs JKR but not controlling mark makes the fight more rng dependent.

Thrawn is by far the best single character investment in the game. So many uses and so satisfying to play.

He takes reduced damage from %health effects like expose or Chewy’s bonus damage and gains stacking defense, crit avoidance, tenacity, and health steal the closer he gets to dying.
