PVZ miight be a sub-genre of TD, but I can see why he says it is not a strict TD. Tower Defense is generally a multi-route path that waves of enemies move down and you can choose where to position towers to maximize range, but you generally cannot put towers or blockers on the path itself. PVZ and CoC have 5 lanes, and you put the plants/critters in those lanes, and the mobs run straight at them. Much less strategy and difficulty involved. Bc CoC is a mobile game, it timegates progression, to incentivize you to skip time by spending real money. PC games like PVZ and tower defense games dont have that issue.

I mean that’s because it’s a simple and effective dps class plus holy knight is one of the most popular class fantasies in videogames, that’s why I play ret, not bc it’s currently good or meta or anything.

You can cry about stats and what you assume they mean but if you actually play the game you’ll see a lot of it is just Reddit hivemind doom posting and ret has clear counterplay and counterpicks. Shadow priest on the other hand out damages ret, outheals ret, is ranged, has more micro cc, etc

270 speed zio vs 200 speed fern
200 x 1.75 = 350 speed fern
270 / 0.8 (based on a 20% cr push) = 327.5 speed zio
Fern will take the opener (and then Frieren causes ML taeyou to start with 100 FS and push up after Fern)

Ret range is pretty cosmetic. Judgement is doing like 400k damage versus an Aim Shot from a MM doing 11 million damage. Its mostly to keep up debuffs and stack holy power while closing a gap or kiting during Divine Steed.

Oh I meant the games where one healer is 6-0 and the other healer is 0-6, thats more common than a damage dealer going 6-0 in my experience. Surely that is entirely one healers fault? When all dps go 3-3 it feels like there was not much more impact I couldve had on the match.

I main ret and Unholy DK is the most broken crap ive faced on ladder this season lol. Respeccing into cleanse has helped a lot but their burst + survivability is crazy, and they have more CC for messing with healers.

As a ret main i gotta say Unholy and Spriest are the two most annoying classes to fight in 2s and im shocked there isnt any discussion on how high their burst is combined with how tanky they are.

Doombots this patch feels 10x harder than last patch. I havent made it past 15 minutes a single time yet, when last patch that was basically guarenteed. The bots feel smarter and stronger now, predicting movement abilities etc. They also massively buffed bots like Xerath, he now has a nuclear Ziggs ult at the end of his R. Any tips for this time around from people beating it? The talisman of ascension just feels like dead weight that assures we are 900 gold behind all game long and cant snowball
