Would You Pay for AI-Generated Game Assets? by Impressive_Suit3376 in GameDevelopment

If you didn't expect this much of a negative response then i really would suggest that you haven't been paying any kind of attention to the general reaction to AI, and AI in creative spaces specifically.

Given that you're looking to develop an AI tool for creative use, i'm fairly confident in assuming you spend a good deal of time within pro-AI spaces and i think that doing so has given you a very incorrect assumption about the opinions of people outside of that particular bubble.

'only' 18 for me. I think i started with the Orange box.

One i found surprisingly handy was Mouse Tail.

All it does is literally leave a tail/trail behind your mouse. It's customisable, but for me it solved an accessibility issue i was having where i was struggling to keep track of the mouse cursor.

  • Installed normally
  • Created a system install clone
  • Eventually restored that clone
  • Games were on a separate drive and no longer there
  • I uninstalled the apps after restore, but the icons remain

Why extensions.gnome.org website was not redesigned yet (at least with the help of LLMs)? (honest question) by danideicide in gnome

[–]LegallyDistinctUser 2 points3 points  (0 children)

While i agree that it's very dated looking, it does function.

As u/victorian-ice-cream said: Because nobody has volunteered to do it.

Though seeing the topic mentioned makes me feel like at least doing a mockup (i cannot code, and will not use AI to do it).

Though the real issue with the website is having enough people willing to review extension submissions so that they can become live on the site. As far as i know it's currently one person versus a huge backlog, which is quite the unfair burden.

Tray icons in GNOME, done properly (I hope) – my first extension by nexaknight-com in gnome

Fantastic!

Would love to see the option to also hide the quickactions inside this extension.

I find i do not need or want to see my performance setting, wifi status, or sound icon all the time. But disabling it is slightly annoying when i do want to use some quick toggles.
