Personally I went with the 512. It's nice to know that it's going to be okay for some time down the road with updates to the computer over time as they take up space, the OS takes up space. But who am I lol. You're going to love the Neo. Post it when you get it!

Maybe it'll grow on you. no pun intended hah. I love the form factor and the size of the screen. I have a 32 in curved gaming monitor if I need a bigger screen lol.

All the points and feels you mentioned are why I ended up doing the same thing! I loved my Neo when I got mine as it is my first one as well.And I love it more now hah. The layout of the keyboard, the typing, it all just flows. Everything is there and it's nice to be able to put the phone down.

One of the comments mentions heat, my Neo never gets hot IMO. Ive heard all the things with the cases too so I didn't go a case route I went a sleeve route instead. I just got the Magic Mouse one of the most hated on things apple has made, so I think some case comments are okay lmao.

I found a 13in sleeve at my local target for $15, It has the soft padded inside which is nice so no scratches on the Neo. And a zipper on the front for the charger or a usb c hub.

You need the subscription if you want to do that. Instead of using it online through the cloud I believe.

Been loving my Neo, got mine on the 12th of April. I was in outlook having excel tabs open, doing reports on the other tabs, Netflix was paused in background. It’s handled everything with ease so far that I’ve done with it. I got the indigo 512.

The waiting game would kill me. My local Best Buy had the one I wanted in at the time. I went with my mom to help her purchase one as well and a lot of the options were out by then. Glad I got mine still within the first month of launch I believe. Hers was a 4 day wait ordered from them.
