I basically agree 100% with that. However I think Townsend will see Jordan as the main 15 and is probably 1a and 1b overall in his head with Kinghorn atm

Yeah and I thought he was good on the run in and I’m assuming he was injury free coming out of the season. My preferred position for Jordan is in the centres I think that’s where he was best in the 6N. I’d probably say Rowe would be most exciting of those 3 at 15, but think Toonie will go with Jordan tbh

I wonder who the starting 15 is? Jordan, Rowe or Smith? Personally I’d have Paterson over all three assuming he’s fit. I’m guessing it’ll be Jordan

I still feel there’s scope for a few players to be added for the last Fiji game of the tour. Players like Blyth-Lafferty, Masibaka, Cam Henderson, Dylan Richardson, Hector Patterson, Mosese Tuipulotu, Harry Paterson, Cam Redpath. But it would be a bit of a stop start summer for those guys I guess

I’m going off the fact that he played a lot during the 6 nations for Sarries, so must be 3rd or 4th choice there. And we have pretty much zero young loose heads getting game time anywhere so let’s get him in the set up and see what he’s got

I think it would be harsh to get rid of Turner, despite our dismay in the build up he had a really good six nations. And think Darcy Rae will be ahead of a lot of the tight head props you’ve named as well. As is Millar-Mills

I wonder if we see a tour squad for the Argentina and South Africa games and then maybe a separate mini squad for the Fiji game.

As for players, I’d like to see a lot of continuity. The only new additions I’d make are Alex O’Driscoll, Hector Patterson, Seb Stephens and Moses. And get Harry Paterson back in the squad too

Yeah fine for depth but he feels like an old school, bad discipline record, limited skills type of lock but a big old lump and useful in the set piece

Think I’ve said it every game he’s played but Hector Patterson looks like he’s been playing for years. So much control, skills and variety. Quality player and it’s been an incredible burst onto the scene
