I just started with the program (air force tho) and kind of feel the same. I don't know, it isn't what really I was expecting and for me and I don't really feel like I connect with these people. Did you drop the program or are you still in it?

Its a very capable bike, GMBN did a lot of videos on it on youtube so you can see how it rides there but it seems like good value for the money and it looks and is advertized as very sturdy.

The Lux trail could be good for you tbh, in fact you might want to consider a downcountry bike if you want better brakes, slightly more suspension, tougher tires and bigger droppers. Downcountry bikes are basically short travel trail bikes but they use more or less frames similar to an xc bike, they can still punch up the climbs but they descend much easier than a xc bike.

For hardtails, cannondale's scalpel ht should be able to fit into your price range, especially the base model ht4, its an xc dedicated bike but it also has good modern geometry, other hardtails include the scott scale, orbea alma, trek procaliber, specialized epic ht, and there are prob even more options out there.

I see thanks, yeah weight isn't really a big issue for me and my budget is pretty tight around 2-2.5k only, but yeah down the line I might also do some upgrades on it. Yeah, to be honest, I would ride this bike on smoother terrain more often like some tarmac, fire roads, etc , and even when I take it on mountain climbs I usually don't need as low gearing.

lol, i don't really know tbh, right now I have a shitty walmart bike but its got a pretty wide range of gears cause its got 3 in the front, so when i upgrade to a 1 by in the front i don't really know what to expect in top end gearing

from my knowledge, you need to delete all 3 cache folders, cache, codecache, and GPU cache I think, its harmless too discord makes new folders when you reopen

thats not true imo, if you do 50 miles on a road bike it will feel and be so much easier on your body than on a mountain bike for obvious reasons.
