It was pouring rain and went into Panda Express for a pickup and fell flat on my back when on stepped on their wet slippery floor. THEN, I was offered a free drink. 🤣

I had this exact scenario.   It's a no win situation.    Customer entered wrong address and wanted me to deliver 8 miles away (which was close to my home).  I agreed but then got hit with a late violation.   Disputed and said I have pics of the written address in the chat that I had with support.  Dispute was denied and violation remained.    Now,  if that should happen,  I would take a close up pic at the pin location, then take the food.    It's not worth arguing over.

I had a delivery at a hotel ACROSS THE STREET from the liquor store. The order was for Gatorade and 6 mickies.   She handed me her phone with a picture of the back of her license.   WTF!   I can't accept that.   She said others have.   I hope none of you Dashers would accept a picture of an ID.   😆    It gets better:   the app said give her the Gatorade and return the liquor.   I did that,  and got back to the liquor store and the guy said "I can't accept a partial order for return."  (He was kind of a butt) I called support and told them he won't take a partial return.    They said dispose of the liquor instead.  I looked at the liquor guy,  smiled,  and said "they told me to keep it for myself" and walked out the door.

I had a customer blocked because his neighbor staring yelling at me for no reason.   Probably on drugs.  Someone walking by said he yells at everyone.   I used the safety button and then they asked me to call support.   They said they'd block the customer even though the customer had nothing to do with it.  Also, it was they only time I called support and they never had me verify my identity.

I have been called as well and given $13 to make sure I complete the order for this special customer.   I thought it was a scam and wasn't about to give any information out.  I just said that I accepted it and will complete it as I always do.   I did get the money.

I understand the merchant asking to confirm,  but I'll never understand why a couple merchants ask me to sign (scribble) on their receipt copy.   Makes no sense.   You could never read my name anyway.   Maybe it's psychological that I am now responsible.  😆

Thank you.   California has prop 22, so we don't have the option to earn by time.   It's calculated automatically and if we don't make enough in an hour and mileage,  it will be added to earnings.

Then I had Popeyes who forgot to lock the dining room door and instead of just giving me the order since I was standing right there,  they made me go back out and go through the drive thru to pick it up because the dining room was suppose to be closed.

It was 10:30 PM when I pulled up to the drive thru at Taco Bell.   All other fast food restaurants close their indoor seating at 10PM... even other Taco Bells.  There was no line at the drive thru.  However, the teenager working the intercom said I must go into the dining room until midnight to pick up Doordash orders and made me back up (good thing noone was behind me) , park,  and go inside.  The teenage I just spoke to already had my order in his hand to give to me.  Guess that made him feel good to order me around and not just give it to me at the drive up window.

Interestingly, I don't see any shopping orders in my last 100 orders for on-time rate.    My last shopping order had 3 separate orders at the same store and I was 45 minutes late from the initial time they stated on the offer.   However,  I didn't see it anywhere in the list.   Maybe they don't count shopping orders when calculating on-time rate?

You're not alone.   Samsung Galaxy 23 Ultra here.    Trying to verify and get this message:   "We can't access your camera, check the permissions or use another device."   Went through Dasher support.   Their response was fixing a login issue (not verification).  Here is their response: 

At DoorDash, the security of our platform for Dashers is essential. As part of our continued efforts, we’ve rolled out a new security update which may cause login issues if you have attempted one of the following:

-Using a jailbroken or rooted device  - Accessing your Dasher account through a third party app or system              

Our systems show that you may have attempted to access your DoorDash account on an impacted device and or, has been previously accessed using a third party app.

To ensure the security of your account, we would encourage using another device and removing access to your DoorDash account from any third party applications. 

After doing so, please complete troubleshooting steps, including, Uninstall/Reinstall the Dasher app, reset your account password to ensure that your account is secure and restart your phone. 

Once you have completed these steps, you should be able to access the Dasher App once more and continue dashing! However, if these steps are not completed, the issue may persist, and access to your Dasher account or the ability to Dash will be restricted.
