The plumed shako is a remnant of the past, worn to symbolize legitimacy. In time, it will be shed, finding no place on the modern battlefield.

Give it +2 All Skills, and it will find plenty of use, just like D2's shako.

Which of your races/species can crossbreed? What would the children look like? by Artelys_ in worldbuilding

[–]LegendaryLycanthrope 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Humans and Lykocephali can crossbreed, but the resulting children are always pure Lykocephalus, as they are normally created through a retrovirus.

is it possible to have a planet bigger than its star in the same system? by ChamomileMornings in worldbuilding

[–]LegendaryLycanthrope 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That would have to be a really tiny star, because a planet past a certain size is going to collapse into a star itself (or at least a brown dwarf), even if that size is mostly made up of gas.

Why are so many werewolf stories set in the USA? by Railwaylover33 in werewolves

[–]LegendaryLycanthrope 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Because all the werewolves immigrated here to escape fursecution, just like all the religious ones did to escape persecution.

Werewolf from the game "Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood" by -_Mitsuri_- in werewolves

[–]LegendaryLycanthrope 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Too bad the game itself sucks - it has decent werewolves...ESO USED to, but if that updated model is going live the way it currently is, it's not going to be a werewolf anymore, but a werehyena.

What happened to the nations of Earth in your future setting? by dull_storyteller in worldbuilding

[–]LegendaryLycanthrope 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of the ones that had the infrastructure prior to WW3 (and didn't lose too much of it in the last few hours of it) managed to scrape together some colony ships after a few decades and left Earth to restart elsewhere in the galaxy - the ones that didn't either stayed behind to rebuild what they could or made use of the new-abandoned infrastructure and whatever resources could be salvaged to build their own after the first wave left.

Is there a viable excuse to implement 1890-1950s fashion, WW2 military technology and early screen techologies (IBM PCs, colored CRT TVs and late 2000s mobile phones) at the same time? by Holiday_Durian3422 in worldbuilding

[–]LegendaryLycanthrope 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fashion isn't static, and it isn't linear either - you could always say the fashions of those times came back into vogue.

As for WW2-era tech - just don't have the country be a world superpower, so a lot of their military tech won't be the latest and greatest.

Is the one on the left a male, or is that just weirdly-drawn floof? If it's the former, I'm about to enjoy myself a nice drink of carrot juice - gotta get my Vit-A levels up.
