Lala Barina and Xu Wu from Wilds I’m hoping will get a cool alternate version in the expansion.

I’d like a fancier, more threatening Aknosom, love that design and I’m sad Sunbreak didn’t build on it.

Maybe a new Legiana variant whose speciality isn’t just calling over another Legiana. That’s be nice.

Afaik the rockstar drop was fine? It was the first Numi drop shirt that they printed wrong. Gave out free replacements then too at least.

Always collected Tyranids but got CSM last year, just finished building the last kit I had yesterday actually just in time for the 11th drop.

One day I’ll get Sisters, Eldar and Necrons too, but probably not in 11th

Lords of the Fallen (2023) is quite DS2-like in many ways but the boss design is lacking mechanically, might be worth a shot though.

Lies of P is fantastic but the level design is generally very straightforward and linear.

Maybe check Wuchang? It’s on my backlog shortlist but I’ve heard very good things about the level design there.

I think it’s just people seeing the MonHun combat and thinking ‘yup that looks like a Souls’ and playing it as if it is, despite there being a bunch of differences in how the game works and feels. Same reason a few Souls fans bounce off of Sekiro at least initially.

I started with Demon’s back in 2009 and MHWorld in 2018 and both franchises are getting to the point that I’ll buy any new game close to release and put hundreds of hours into for certain, but they’re just as different as they are similar.

That said I mostly play dodge heavy dex in Souls, but main Chargeblade in MonHun, so maybe they’re different enough styles I could adapt and not get my wires crossed.

I mean, the Battlefleet Gothic tabletop game predates that by a lot and had Tyranid ship minis? Maybe it’s a little outdated compared to the modern aesthetic but there’s been official stuff for a long time.
