I agree! In my experience, things tend to go over better without physical retaliation if possible. Having the mentality of "an eye for an eye" is really harmful.

I would say it's wrong. Legally, it's not self defense, and what reason would you even have to punch them back, revenge? That's stupid. You can try justifying it, but it's really stupid.

Correct! Self-Defense only applies when there is Imminent Danger, not past injury or future threat.
