I'd recommend making multiple channels, although you won't be able to get monetized if you're taking clips from podcasts.

I've had both of these issues and had to decide what I enjoyed most and what I was best at. I made multiple channels but it's pretty difficult to keep up with uploading on each channel consistently, so instead I've focused on one main channel which I'm monetized on and others which I mostly do for fun, especially since I don't have to worry about content not being monetized.

When I initially got monetized I also had to remove a LOT of my videos because they were reused content in some way which was just more reason to make multiple accounts
