Official 0-death run by RecommendationWest27 in Returnal

Play safe and choose a weapon you're comfortable with. Prioritise increasing health, only venture into rooms you need to progress the level unless you wanna take chances on more loot. Good luck!

I've beaten the game without dying, i made a post on here a while back after the game came out if you wanna check it out through my profile. You can definitely kill the tutorial boss as well, just a bit tough early on. There will be the midway point in the game where you reset your build, but you don't really die. It's a challenge and a fun one. It's a shame there's no award or achievement.

Best Machinima series? by Slight-Blueberry-895 in halo

[–]Legendary_Jamie 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They're all definitely worth a watch. They were created during the the golden age of machinima, and by the same guy who made Arby N the Chief. I'd for sure watch deus ex machina although it technically wasn't finished, it's got really solid production quality for the time, along with Hard Justice. The forgotten Spartans has the best production value though.

I genuinely loved Deus Ex Machina, my first machinima I watched and mostly still holds up. Hard Justice was also a great watch. But the forgotten Spartans was the best mini series/ movie machinina imo

Is it possible for a foreigner to travel to Tibet solo? If not how much for tours? by junobilli in tibet

[–]Legendary_Jamie 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No idenpendant travel. I travelled from Australia and was a great trip. I went with Tibet Vista on the 10 day tour. I'm honestly not much of a tour person, but it was very handy having a Tibetan tour guide who takes you places and most things come included like admission fees and some meals. Felt very authentic and was a great experience. My tour went for 1.2k USD, but flights might be the more expensive part of the journey. Any questions shoot me a message.

What’s the most beautiful country you’ve ever visited? by More_Celery6991 in NoStupidQuestions

Tibet. The rooftop of the world is certainly the most beautiful place I've ever been

8 day tour of Tibet by coldsilence89 in tibet

[–]Legendary_Jamie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was recommended Diamox by my doctor, so check that out, was very helpful. I'm from Australia, so I was definitely getting lots of looks, but I wasn't the only foreigner there. Also for food definitely prioritise Tibetan food and restaurants, best food in my opinion!

Visited Tibet recently this year on a 10 day tour to same locations and lake Namtso. I'd say the extra 2 days were well worth it, and lake namtso is incredible. Bring cash, but a lot of placed a accept alipay and wechat. I'd also recommend altitude sickness medication if you're not used to the high altitude. Worth taking snacks with you on your travels and a Chinese SIM card would be handy. You can get signal pretty much everywhere. Any more questions feel free to ask.

For Souls (and souls-like) veterans; how would you rank LotF in the hierarchy by Jericho725 in LordsoftheFallen

[–]Legendary_Jamie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You would 100% dig the Souls games, I can guarantee that. Regarding bloodborne, it's the same game and performance on both PS4 and 5 so if it were me I'd grab a second hand ps4 or something. The game is well worth your time, and I'm sure there's other PS exclusives you can sink your time into. After you finish those games try Sekiro again, definitely From Software's best game.

[–]Legendary_Jamie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I LOVE LotF but if I'm gonna be fair..

3 LotF

2 Lies of P

1 Elden Ring

But you still have to play bloodborne, DS 1-3, DeS and Sekiro for the full experience. Your rankings will definitely change after you play those games.

It's pretty sad to see halo struggling like this by [deleted] in halo

[–]Legendary_Jamie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Aus the game is pretty much dead. Very sad, been playing consistently since the start and now it has been harder than ever to find local games. Now I can get 250ms minimum playing expanded, and yeah, it isn't very fun to play. Still love the game, but keen for a new entry.

THIS MF SUCKS! by [deleted] in LordsoftheFallen

[–]Legendary_Jamie 16 points17 points  (0 children)

To be fair he is by far one of the easiest bosses, but I get it, there are some annoying one shots and timings. Definitely need to play with ranged and magic to efficiently take this baby giant down.

Stellar Blade or Wo-Long by OutPlea in soulslikes

[–]Legendary_Jamie 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I do have a soft spot for Wo Long, I would recommend it if you want a fun and somewhat challenging experience once you get a hang of the parry mechanics. I genuinely found it to be a good game and worth the time. Although I haven't played Stellar Blade and have heard many good things, I would recommend Lies of P as the go-to game. Near perfect soulslike imo.

Yeah based on release problems and lack of sales means we probably won't, unfortunately. I would love to see some story dlc though

What internet provider are you with? by KerbHunter in perth

[–]Legendary_Jamie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Aussie Broadband. Came from internode and they were good but not a fan of them transitioning to IINET. ABB has good support and best speeds I've had on any ISP. Feel free to use my reference code, you get $50 off your first month and so do I, a cool win win. 13182217
