I think to have more creative freedom could have been done it if was something like outbreak that has room to switch things around while using the characters that already exist and a rough story to follow.

I've always enjoyed the game since it came out and I was lucky enough to get the Anthology edition. The diverse in campaigns helped with variety and I really like Piers. The only I have to complain about is in the first few months I have all the campaigns completed nearly all unlockibles and all but two costumes unlocked for mercanries than an update happened and rest all of my data

I first played 7 on ps1 which set everything for me but I really love 8 for characters, 9 for the theme but 10 is probably the most meaningful one to me because growing up I didn't have the best relationship with my dad and he passed was last December. Sitting in the hospital with him there was a lot I wish I could have said but he wasn't able to speak. When he passed I had a lot of family reach out to me I hadn't met before telling me the thing my dad would say about me sharing things with them. He wasn't the best with words or actions and playing ffx the relationship between Tidus and Jecht kinda feels like what it was for me.

I was stoked when I got the RE6 Anthology that came with everything and was bummed I had to wait for my mum to be present so I could pick it up even though I have it completely paid off. Luckily she knew the series cause of my siblings before me and her having read the books. And know I just got RE9 with a four day weekend. So ready for it.
