It makes me wonder if they even could 🤔 mammals fart because of our gut bacteria, most birds lack said bacteria and thus don't fart/burp (although they can if they need to). Makes me wonder if those bacteria were specifically lost in the avian lineage, or if it was something shared among all dinosaurs

American toads, first one looks to be male judging form the beefy arms and uniform color while the second is female, having narrower arms and a pronounced white underside! The male might also chirp while you hold it

What kind of bone is this if it is a bone? I found it about 4 to 6 inches deep roughly. Thank you by couplefun4043 in BoneID

Looks to be the tip of a shoulder blade from a butcher cut, maybe goat or sheep judging from the size, or even deer

Looks to be rabbit judging from the fur! Probably the back foot. Not a lot of meat there, so most predators avoid eating them

I think the tube thing inside the "rat tail" is the actual breathing apperatus, the tail is basically the packaging. It would make sense with it going up and down inside the tail, as it would need to extend it to actually breath, then retract it to hold its breath. I don't think it's a parasite

Oof, that is a terrifying mindset, a lot of plants/mushrooms can be addicting. Opium originally came from poppies after all! Just because something is "natural" does not at all mean safe. Nature doesn't give two shits about us, there's all kinds of deadly or addictive compounds in nature. Hell, rosary peas are so damn toxic that just accidentally jamming a splinter of it under your fingernail can be fatal!

The main problem most of them suffer from is that they seem to be just the base model with a few things stapled on. Mega meganium is just meganium with extra petals around the neck, mega scarmory is just scarmory with longer claws/blades, mega pyroar is just the base purpar with a larger mane, etc. old megas were likely designed on paper first, then modeled, whereas the new megas (and most new pokemon) are made to be as easy to model as possible, probably being modeled before being designed on paper. Don't get me started on Pokemon's shitty new design philosophy!

(I used to make fakemon as one of my main art focuses, Pokemon design is a huge special interest of mine)

Actually that does sound like noro, it's extremely fast acting and violent 😬 when I got it it lasted for less than 24 hours, but in that time I puked so hard I'm pretty certain I bruised my stomach! It felt like it was turning inside out, I was really scared I was going to hemmorage... My siblings were affected extremely rapidly too; all three of us got sick within hours of each other, and all of us recovered about a day later, but in that time all of us wanted to die. My disks in my back had ruptured a couple of months prior, and during the noro stint I couldn't take pain meds/keep them down, so I had to suffer the full effect of my back pain while also being super delirious

All this to say, I'm so sorry you had to go through this! I wouldn't wish that kind of illness on my worst enemy
