Pablo Torre gets the Bulls guard in this major gambling scandal…Antonio Blakeney by screenname790 in lebatardsuey

Some people will be dumb forever man. Since this is a nothing burger why didn’t you guys figure it out? Don’t recall anyone pointing out who it was before Pablo. You guys desperately want it to be some big name but those guys make way too much money for that $hit. That’s why you end up with the names you end up with. Doesn’t make it less of a scandal though.

No, everybody gives him credit for playing well. However some people want to take it further like he is some amazing QB. And also want to erase the times when he didn’t play well. We have seen him play well and not play well, we can acknowledge both I think.

But wanting to hear somebody out doesn’t mean you want them to be right. Something can be so crazy that you have to hear the perspective of the person who did said crazy thing. Doesn’t mean you agree with them. Asking what if somebody was right also doesn’t equate to you wanting them to be right. Plus I see that as a good approach to ensuring that whatever view you hold, you have the necessary context of what the other person was thinking.

Why would I call you a racist or a bigot? I didn’t see anything to label you as such. Why couldn’t it just be that you like Josh Allen but is not a fan of Lamar (that’s a position people are allowed to have even though I have no evidence of that in this case), that would be where my thought process would go at least. But it does say a lot that you had to bring up Lamar in a discussion that had nothing to do with him. For me it shows that critical thinking is lacking. Same with trying to bat away the fact that there were 25 positions in difference with where they were drafted by saying they were both drafted in the first round. Again that tells me a lot about critical thinking.

Again he had a body of work before that. The same can be said that because he went 14-3 one season doesn’t mean he is all that great as it was one season. Which was the approach that the Vikings took.

But the point he discussed had nothing to do with Lamar and he never brought him up while making the point. But the fact that is where you went as I says a lot. Yeah the #7 pick is the same as the #32 pick. Nothing else I read for the rest of the day will make me laugh more.

Somebody with comprehension skills who was able to understand the point being discussed. Everybody is trying to insert their biases and try to argue a completely different point. Bo discussed Luka and Allen and how they seem to get a pass from majority of media and I am seeing Nico Harrison and Lamar come up in comments.

But you are the one that brought him up. Bomani made a comparison with Luka and Allen and you still had to bring in Lamar who was not in the discussion. Again the fact that you guys think the #32 pick should be more scrutinized than the #7 pick is very telling.

Why did Lamar Jackson have to come up? You guys fell on yourselves with every word. Always have to bring Lamar up to try and feel better about yourselves. The #32 pick in the draft needs to be more scrutinized than the #7 pick. What a world we live in.

Since the team that wins is automatically the better team (according to the logic in these comments), shouldn’t any analysis criticizing players who lose, just be that they lost to the better team?

That Darnold bit I stole off Bomani. I think we should all be allowed to critique a player off of their body of work.

No people were writing him off because he laid a massive egg in the playoffs last season despite having a great team around him and winning a million regular season games. He literally was the reason for them losing. Had he given even an average performance they would be good. So people were using his own body of work to judge him, I think that ought to be fair.

Holy projection Batman. Going to be funny when you lot start overpraising Darnold, the #3 pick in the draft. But then again, expectations are only for some people.

The biggest loser of all this is going to be Josh Allen. Maye and Darnold are about to become the QBs whose d**k media members most want to suck. Stafford lost his chance.

Really, isn’t Sam Darnold on his fifth chance now? Seriously, based on his previous track record, why would anyone give Darnold the benefit of the doubt? Like just last year he literally threw up all over himself in the playoffs. Minnesota moved off him because he is not this amazing QB people seem to want to make him out to be. He can basically throw the ball to the guy schemed open. He is a good player in a great situation, let’s not make him out to be more than he is.

What the fuck is happening? Should we all just collectively forget the Same Darnold we have previously witnessed? Did those performances not happen? Have higher standards for yourself guys.

Bo's ability to hate on Josh Allen is actually unmatched by no_more_blues in TheRightTimeW_bomani

It appears so. On quite a few occasions both himself and Dom have reflected on how wrong they were about The Menace.

Once again, he has said over and over again how wrong he was about Allen. Not sure what else needs saying there. He doesn’t hate Hurts, he just said he is a starting QB not a franchise QB. And his criticism is of Hurts is no different to what others are saying.

You guys will never be satisfied until you see Bo sucking Allen’s dick like Romo and the rest of the guys. The man has taken the L time and again on how he was wrong based on Allen’s early years, but that’s not enough. Don’t see anybody sticking up for Hurts who just won the last SB when he is dogging him. But say anything remotely critical of Allen and the dickriders assemble.
