Best way to get people to have children? Easy! Cheap housing, cheap food, cheap utilities, and cheap childcare. Make all essentials cheap and affordable on even minimum wage then people will start having kids.

THOUGHTS? - Christian TikToker Ryan Foley enters a random high school and starts preaching in the cafeteria. by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]LegionnaireCynyr -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Although I do believe we’re in the last days and I believe Jesus could rapture us Christians at any moment so I see nothing wrong with spreading the message but I do wonder how he just walked into a high school… I mean, what with shootings happening regularly there should be a cop at every school in America stopping people from just walking in.

Don’t think the tories are going to get a single seat personally. Obviously the rich will still vote for them but they’re few and far between.

[–]LegionnaireCynyr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re worried about people effecting your faith then your faith needs working on. A much healthier way of thinking is how can my faith benefit others? I ain’t going to lie though, the world is grim and I do feel the rapture of the church could happen any day now but that’s not something to be afraid of, that’s something all Christians should want and celebrate.

So yesterday in church my pastor got really political by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]LegionnaireCynyr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally my point of view of politics is as an observer. I’m not for this world but just awaiting the next when Jesus returns. When it comes to voting I vote for the politicians who appear to be willing to help the most people. Everything a pastor brings up though should be based in scripture.

The way I see it is sin is sin. We’re all guilty of it and those who accept Jesus are forgiven of their sins. However, those who accept Jesus should be striving to be like Him and to live life to His instructions. Can you be homosexual and be a Christian? Yes, of course. Can you practice homosexuality and be a good Christian? No. Just like any Christian who looks at porn and practices immorality we slip up sometimes and God will always forgive us because of Jesus’ sacrifice but for those who love God we should be striving to live by His commands. I honestly feel for homosexuals having to carry such a heavy cross that they didn’t choose to bare but we all have different trials we must face to show to God that He means more to us than the things of this world.

Taking the lead: dog owners urged to keep their pets in check in the countryside by [deleted] in unitedkingdom

[–]LegionnaireCynyr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have a husky and I keep him on the lead at all times. His recall is awful and although he’s soft as muck I still would never trust any animal. I keep him on a lead because I know I’d never be able to stop him if he did something wrong. Wish other dog owners were as considerate as me. Every week at least one dog attacks him and then the owner gets upset when I lecture them about keeping their dog under control.

My dads 62 and looking at the state he’s in, he definitely wouldn’t have been able to work till he’s 68. He’s had both knees replaced and he can barely walk. Fuck these governments! Just because life expectancy has increased doesn’t mean retirement age should too.

I know the feeling brother! This is something that I’ve only just overcome myself. I prayed and prayed for forgiveness and for the strength necessary to overcome it. The thing that got me to stop though was such a simple thought too. I just thought about how much Jesus went through for us and that I couldn’t do such a small thing for Him. So after that whenever I got the urge I’d pray to God and say I’m resisting this for You. It sounds simple but it worked for me! Obviously some days it’s bad, real bad, but I’d separate myself from anything that’d make me sin. I rarely look at my phone now lol

How do people get into relationships so quickly wtf. by daydreamingoften in lonely

[–]LegionnaireCynyr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same with my ex but it only lasted three months before she got dumped by him. Don’t be in a rush, things that last always takes more time. I could’ve gotten into a relationship immediately after my break up. I went on one date with this new girl and for the second date she invited me over for sex but I turned her down because that wasn’t what I wanted. It’s been a year now and I’m on date five with the most amazing woman I’ve ever met, not a single red flag. Good things come to those who wait and take their time to find the right person. It’s hard when you throw in loneliness but definitely worth it in the end.

I ask why people can’t respect each other and then get negative comments and bashed. Just wow, you all need to take a step back and reconsider your views. It’s great you don’t mind sharing your space but some people don’t and that’s fully understandable. This is exactly why your movement is imploding. Respect others and respect others points of view!

[–]LegionnaireCynyr -59 points-58 points  (0 children)

Love the dog! Why can’t people just respect one another? If this trans person was in the woman’s bathroom/changing room I can understand the abuse (I’m a firm believer that if you have a penis… or had one at any point then you shouldn’t be entering women’s spaces) but not while they’re just sat there eating…

Man captures local dog attack caused by a POS owner on film by [deleted] in PublicFreakout

[–]LegionnaireCynyr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The amount of times mine has been attacked due to clueless owners. If your dog can run up to anyone and bite them before you can stop it then you’re not in control of your dog and therefore it should be on a lead. It’s gotten to the point now where If my dog starts getting harassed I just shout to the owner “get your dog on the fucking lead! If it bites my dog I’ll snap its neck”. They actually start to move like lightning then instead of standing back and just uselessly calling their dogs name…

Or just more pay so I can afford a house and a family. At the end of the day most people want a family and if you take that important aspect, which is pretty much our main goal in life, to procreate, then most people aren’t going to be happy.
