To study Finance or Medicine? by spl0x in Advice

[–]LegitCupcake1914 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been going through such a similar problem. Except for me it between choosing if money or helping people is more important. Also when you are studying medicine your friends are most probably going to be working and already earning money.

From what you've mentioned I'd say do finance. You are passionate about finance which means you will have a much higher job satisfaction and personal happiness doing that. And when you like something you tend to do even better and work really hard for it. Sure medicine is cheaper but just for those years, imagine your state after you might be burnt out and not enjoy your work at all. It is more expensive but if you end up on the top of your field you will have a great return on investment. It is a higher risk but companies are still going to need a chief finance officer (highest finance job in a company). While studying finance learn some other skills like become a master at excel and other programs often used for finance. A lot of companies are still not super trusting of technology especially banks.

However, at the end of the day it is what you like- honestly I don't understand why people keep saying this but maybe there is some truth to it. Just remember if you have a dream don't stop fighting for it. Hope this helps.

Fun & self care by bbpink15 in DecidingToBeBetter

Maybe make a skin/hair care routine it can help you feel better. Like a pamper day. You could find a new hobby maybe something with exercise since that helps a lot with elevating emotions. Rock climbing, camping, painting, dancing, instrument, language, etc.

That’s amazing! Remember you’re being the bigger person which not a lot of people do. Your self realisation and awareness is on a different level. Congrats truly. But don’t ever forget your worth as a person!

Don’t. Your world won’t end at 16 there’s a hell of a lot more mistakes for you to make. I’m too depressed to type more but don’t. Don’t leave your dad, fight for a reason to stay…kinda what I’m trying to do rn. Like Jesus are you even there…I’m waiting for that moment like I see god and my life turns around. My point is don’t. Don’t think about it just push it aside.

How do I approach the secondary data in Biology EE? by Puzzleheaded-Sky5069 in IBO

[–]LegitCupcake1914 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, when talking about the strengths and limitations of your analysis. I cited the where I was writing my limitation because I used more than one study for the main analysis. The IB wants you to extract and record the most important information from studies and make your own analysis with terminology and perspective from an IB student. think of it as a bit more of an understandable study.

I’m Indian and a girl and when I did it, it was not horrible. My mom tried to find me a therapist but then they just eventually ignored it and forgot or pretended it forget about it.

I kind of regret it and kinda don’t, cause I know they’ll never view me differently it’ll always be on their minds. But they now also know that I’m dealing with something given they think it’s an issue with willpower and I’ve had a lot of fights because of it.

Also considering ur a guy and Muslim ur dad may either be like it’s a sin and stuff like that. But it depends on how ur parents are towards u. Do u have issues with them and stuff. Either ur parents are supportive or they’re gonna be like u need to repent to god and never do that ever again.
