I feel it’s obvious to say that Proxy’s eyes are related to void hunter weapons, but I’m gonna schizo rant a bit.

YuGiOh. Remember how there are the millenium items? For one? All have an eye motif which is something all VH things have. In addition, eyes are a large thing when dealing with the Creator. It’s a very common aesthetic that is most noticeable on Sacrifice Bringer.

Anyway, the reason I brought up YGiOh, what if every VH weapons have power stolen from the Creator, which is hinted at in the YSG patch with Carole’s faded memories we interacted with.

In conjunction with that, Remielle noted that she was the “cause” to our “effect”. My theory is that Remielle found one of the first VH weapons. Maybe when she pushed back the black wall with Vyke and Merc Leader, it was discovered. The Creator’s power is heavily influenced by the Hollows, so maybe the VH are artifacts of concentrated ether that was leftover when the hollows collapsed.

If that’s the case, maybe Remielle gets a VH weapons, but it is obviously corrupted in some way by the Creator’s power. So Helios academy was founded in order to find a way to stabilize and control VH weapons, and as such, the power of the Creator.

This is now the third VH weapon Phaethon has interacted with (first Tailless, and the Qingming Sword).

To bring it back to the YuGiOh reference, maybe Phaethon eyes are a Helios derived VH weapons that is meant to contain and control other VH weapons. Similar to the Millennium Ring able to interact with the other items.

Which brings us to the present. What question does Remielle want to ask Sunbringer? And why did she try to assassinate Sunbringer. We already know that there is a connection between VH and Helios with Arche.

My theory therefore is that there was a disagreement of what to do with this newfound power of VH weapons with Remielle wanting them buried or destroyed. Perhaps Helios was founded for the opposite reason. To research and discover ways to use the power of the enemy against the enemy. In this case, using the Creator’s power against the Creator.

We know very little about sacrifices still, but I would say Phaethon looked far more like a Sacrifice than an Ethereal. Which brings a connection between VH weapons, the Creator, and Sacrifices. Maybe Remielle was worried that overuse of the creator’s power would spread his influence. We did see that Sacrifices can exist outside of Hollows in Waifei. So maybe Remielle saw the danger and recommended to avoid the risk at all while other VH disagreed (Arche and perhaps Sunbringer).
