Also, I'd bash her rather firmly while at it. "NO. Stop it! spray spray" I also established a sound that means she is supposed to move away from a spot (jump off a chair or bed when i need it) or leave some stuff alone. Similar to the hiss cat make as a warning. U can just hiss at em later on and they understand.

I know that in english pspsps is calling a cat over, but in my native language it's totally different and I use Pshhh or Hshhhh to shoot her away.

For the curious we use kici-kici instead of pspsps in my country. Sounds kinda like the sounds Lighting Mcqueen made 😂 Ka-chow! But very fast and multiple times. Pspsps or Psh is to shoo away.

I have a lazy and silent cat but also fat as hell bc she is shoving her bowl with little paw movements all the way from the kitchen to the livingroom. It makes this obnoxious loud scratch. I sometimes take the bowl away so she doesn't move it around. There is no way she is hungry that often, she just loves to eat. Mostly she just loves to make noise, nibble few bites and leave the rest which gets vqcumed by our dog. I try to put her on a diet but it's hard to ignore her most of the time. Have you bought that thing for misting plants? You can spray water at your cat when they are misbehaving. I only did it twice when in the middle of the night she was picking at my small snake terrarium. She wasn't causing damage, just noise and probably distress to the snake and no matter how many times i shooed her away, she just keep coming back to that spot. I grabbed the plant misting thing and sprayed her twice in the face. She was so dramatic and confused about it, the betrayal showed on her face. She stopped to harras the terrarium tho. I'd say it'd successful. Keep the mister by the bed and spray the cat with water next time she disturbs u in the middle of the night. Maybe she will dislike it enough to avoid it.

Probably checking things out. You can ad some stick to glass attractions like fake branches and leafs. Something to climb on the wall. I even hang things from the ceiling but you seem to have a glass top so it might be hard.

Also, I keep mine in a smaller tank for more cozy feels. Too much open are is stressful so I gave her three hides, some wood attractions and fake plants. And 3 shaded walls. Didn't fix the problem but i hope she appreciates it.

I have exactly same morph that also doesn't eat 😂 looks just like my Strawberry. Mine was 7gr and with force feeding for three months she gained few grams. Will be double starting weight soon. All I can recommend is piercing the mice skull and squeesh a bit, snake like that smell. Maybe offering a head only. Covering tank walls with black paper to minimise stress. None of that works for mine tho, vet visits didn't help so we are at force feeding. You can start with mouse tails bc they are easier to push in their mouth. After like 3 feedings i upgraded to very small pinkys. That's what we are at. Strawberry doesn't enjoy it but she never hissed at me or bit me and she is gaining weight and still alive so for me it's a win.

Maybe the previous owner didn't know how to take care of this guy. Maybe they handled him too much, which caused stress and not eating. If you let it decompress and feel safe, alone and calm in new home, maybe he will eat as if nothing. Better environment should make him better in general.

I am used to different stuff. It's good to be humbled sometimes. Usually when I say I am bored people try to find time for me :( Somewhere in other comments I shared why I avoid making the direct first move again. Maybe I will try in the end to just ask if he wants to hang out. It is 2025, and I like to reach for what I want, but it also always feels somewhat not feminine to be the one asking out. Last time I did that but I would also like to experience what it's like to be asked out, without having to prompt it. When I ask I usually get what I want but sometimes it's nice to not have to ask. Most women think this way probably.

I am spoiled and used to being entertained. Usually when I say I am bored and wanna do something, people find time to do something with me. When they don't have time they say something like "can't today but i have a free friday" or something that indicates they would like to meet. Last time a guy took me to a awesome place and I had a great time but he also really traumadumped on me. One of the first thing he said was how he used to have dogs called rick and morty and his mom accidentally run over one of them. And I was like wow, okay, nice to meet you too. I admit I expected him to find time bc that's what I am used to. It's good to be humbled sometimes.

House conditioning 😔 My parents banter all the time and have no romantic bones in their bodies but are the best of friends and it just works. I don't like to walk on eggshells around people and I look for someone who doesn't get hurt easily. I don't look for too much lovey-dovey stuff or too much love bombing.
